The point all the other bitches was makin was that just cause you makin this translations for free don’t mean you got no obligation to make it as accurate as possible. What you’re sayin’s pretty much like…Yo people eat my free food, it’s for free, but it aint my problem if you get food poisoning!

Also, aint this just proof that you can’t take criticism? Ya got all these people sayin why you’re wrong, complete with dictionaries and clarifications from Japan fans and stuff, and you immediately latch on and make them look like they the evil bitches. The only reason they no translate stuff was cause they don’t got the original material, didn’t think they’d need it, and you was already doin it and hey your translations aint really wrong all the time! Why did you translate paatona to buddies? Here is an unbiased translation While they do have a teacher-student relationship, they are partners. At first glance, though there are times when it seems that kind of Yuri and Victor are flirting at competitions (t/n: ‘that kind’ meaning ‘partners’ in the prev sentence), “Fight seriously, you idiots!” is what Yurio will heatedly respond to that, is what I feel on my own.

I’m replying since it’s a question about Japanese.By the way, I think your translation (I’m just assuming it’s yours) has a few parts which are not really exact but I’ll get to that later.

This is the original, for the record:彼らは師弟関係でもあるし、パートナーなんです。一見すると、そんな勇利とヴィクトルがイチャイチャして大会を戦っているように見えるときもありますが、そこを「真剣勝負なんだ、バカヤロー！」とアツく見せてくれているのがユリオだと僕は勝手に感じています。

Oh come on. We can’t count on you to give the right loan word, even if it’s ambiguous as Victor’s not-receding-hairline (you really coulda just left a note), then how the hell we gonna believe the rest of your translations? If it ain’t been for people sharing transcript and asking ya then no one would know that there was another possible translation for that script. 

You followers need to WAKE UP. It ain’t September no more honeys. 

You deliberately, liberally putting words into someone else’s mouth (bless good Otsuka) and you taking advantage of the fact that your followers don’t know much Japanese so they can’t speak for themselves and have to depend on you.

Well good luck because you can’t hoard no scans no more girl. People gonna post stuff every time you show up with translations cause they don’t trust you no more to give the right thing. People gonna call you out for wrong translations cause they see the original script and know that you lying. Then more of you followers, specially the ones who just casually follow you, gonna realize eventually that “sticking up for the underdog” aint always the right thing to do when the underdog is actually playin them. 

And someone to double-check? Honey, who double-checks for you? Your friends who wanna keep this no homo too? Yeeeeeaaaaah when several different translators say you’re full of shit (lmao at that flawed misinterpretation of でもあるし) maybe it’s time to accept that the real problem was your deliberately biased translations all along. Consider this my formal unendorsement of this translator and the other one mentioned above. There are several talented translators in this fandom, and maybe this person has skill, it she’s trying to mislead readers who don’t know any better and that’s a violation of the trust so many fans place in those of us who understand Japanese.
