okay so theyre in europe right but then for some reason they cant go back to japan because the order of the clock tower is in charge of meursault or something and so they have to deal with the aftermath of all that. but you know who else is in europe? adam and shirase and mary shelly and those other transcendents or something. i dont know where im going with this. its an excuse to see stormbringer characters again and to make the other organizations relevant thats what this is
