I’ve been listening to a lot of melancholic music lately, and somehow it reminded me of Haku.
He always seems so chill and happy, taking things as they come and dealing with whatever gets thrown at him. But what happens behind closed doors, alone in his room?
I imagined him seeing MC almost every day. He jokes, flirts, acts like it’s nothing serious, but he never admits how much he actually likes her. So after a mission together, he slumps down in his chair, unable to stop thinking about her.

It was a “quick” drawing, so I didn’t pay too much attention to whether I got all the details right. and I’m still having issues with hands, perspective and proportions. Also, nothing here is canon… just my head-cinema.

Here's comes a section I like to call: Some niche-ish pieces of tkdb merch I wish existed
Because honestly, this game is extremely merch:able and I'm pissed ZigZaGame hasn't taken the opportunity to make any of these yet.
(Disclaimer: I do not want to hear anyone talk about how these things would be unrealistic because of xyz, this is just me, as a fan, dreaming about cool merch ideas)
1. The house lapel pins
I think they're more subtle and nice and could go along well with regular outfits. The lapel pins are a unique part of their school uniforms I'm sad we can't have them ourselves. And plus, cosplayers would love them!
2. The house ties
Again, cosplayers would love them! But this is mostly just me being biased, I love ties and collect them. I often wear them in my regular outfits so I would love subtle merch like this where I could wear something tkdb related and no one would bat an eye.
3. Said it before and I'll say it again, the artefact chains as keychains!!!
Preferably they would be 3D so they would look as closely as they do in the game as possible. But honestly? Just having 2D acrylic keychains of their artefact chains would be cool too.
4. Shion's deck of cards
I think we all have noticed at this point that Shion's artefact (which is a deck of cards) have unique designs on them! I think it would be cool if they sold deck of cards with those designs on them, it's something practical (if you're like me and like card games) to use with other people while still being tkdb related.
5. A tarot card deck using their year one birthday cards
I think you could fill in the missing tarot cards using illustrations of the anomalies, but honestly, wouldn't this be so cool? They already did the tarot card with the birthday cards so why not make a deck out of it?
6. Replicas of the more unique pieces of jewellery
By this I mean like, Subaru's wisteria earring, Haku's earrings, Kaito's pendant, etc. Because it includes all the things I love in a good piece of merch, it's subtle, it's practical and, cosplayers would love it!
7. MC's wanted poster as an actual poster
I just think this would be funny to have in my room. If there existed a high quality photo of the wanted poster I would have already printed it out and hanged it up in my room.
8. Student ID cards
Someone already made fan-made ID cards but I just think it would be cool to have both the ghouls ID cards but also being able to customise your very own student ID card with your house and everything.
I'm really curious of Taiga's stigma/abilities and just how far does it go. We already know through hints that he can see the future or at least something we are unable to see
I'm wondering in the latest appearance of his in the story, the ending of season 1. What he meant in this scene when he said "Don't change to that"
I have like a few thoughts on what it may have been
He was seeing then that everything was going to unfold into chaos somehow imminently. Idk what he may have gathered from that conversation that may have caused him to have a vision that everything was going to end really badly right then and may have seen Romeo and Hyde's interaction later on right in that moment. But the way he says it sounds like the story was going in one direction and suddenly it changed into something else that he obviously doesn't like. From the way he's been already warning and saying that everything was going to hell and even implying there was going to be fire it feels like the whole "Darkwick going into chaos" was something he already had in mind before this, so it's not exactly a sudden "change"
He saw that the story was going to change into another alternative timeline where Shion is coming back. The whole conversation with Elias and Haru before he says this sentence is talking about Mio coming back, and they mention Shion and Jo as well. Maybe in that moment, Taiga had a vision that it wasn't the near future that was going to change, but that the story was going to change to an "alternative universe" were we'd go back in time to a different timeline in which Shion comes back. And that's why he reacts so negatively about it, because he obviously hates Shion. This would be a pretty insane level of awareness of the story or the universe they're in. I'm not sure he's aware of what or who is "Changing" the timelines. Maybe to him it's just something inevitable that chooses at random how to change. But he's definitely aware of a change before it happens. Even way before we all know
In either case, he's definitely aware of a change before it happens, even way before we all know of it. And you'd think, if he knows then why doesn't he say it or warn about it or try to explain to us? I think he wants to but he can't or gave up trying to. It's shown in the past already that he's tried telling Haru about it and he didn't believe him, maybe even Romeo because in his affinity lines he says he tried warning him but he won't believe him. I think his whole character is just someone that keeps trying to warn others of danger or something he believes is important but nobody else listens so he's stuck in a helpless cycle in which he can't do anything
But Mc may be the one thing that can actually help him change the outcomes or at least be an alternative to him fighting against all this on his own. Just a few lines before he says the "Don't change to that" line, he' talks to Mc like he's about to warn her or tell her something important. But right in that moment Elias interrupts and it leads to that conversation where he seems to realise something changed or was going to change and leaves.
So I think he is trying to figure out if he can trust Mc or not, or if she might even believe him or she'll just react the same way everyone else does. He didn't have the chance to say anything here because he was coincidentally interrupted the moment he was going to. But he was obviously going to trust her with important information, which the first time they officially met in the first sinostra episode he was definitely not doing. He told her literally "I don't trust you and you don't trust me either" back then. And I think this shows a huge development on his part, because right in this moment he was going to trust her
So far we haven't heard a single thing from him since the end of season 1 even though his role is very important in the whole coming back of Dyonisia. I think it might be because they're cooking something big for him, or else it's just not the time yet for a big plottwist. It's like they're trying to first make us adapt to the current situation in the game before they throw something big at us to catch us by surprise or something. They've even shown sinostra, Romeo and Ritsu have appeared but not Taiga. We don't even know how Taiga will behave when we interact with him, if he'll treat us the same way he was at the end of season 1 because he's aware, or if he's forgotten or he's unaware and he'll treat us just the same as he used to at the current time of the story back in the first timeline
It's very mysterious and I love it. I just miss him and want to know more about him and the depths of what's in his mind. To understand him better I need to know what he's going through or struggling with because I really feel like he's battling with something on his own
