“I’m pretty sure my problems are the same as everyone else’s about town recently; probably even yours, too.”
❛ Thank you for stating the obvious, Isaac. I suppose I’m just tired of all the long faces around town. ❜
( isaac l. ):
“No offense, but you’re not exactly an ideal pseudo therapist.”
❛ And your problems are not exactly my ideal of interesting conversation, no offense, but—we make do with what we have. ❜
( cora h. ):
❝ Well, you’re wrong. If I wanted your help, I would ask for it – but I don’t. Someone else might. Go help them. ❞
❛ Alright. No talking then. ❜
( cora h. ):
❝ Do I look like I want to talk about it? ❞
❛ Actually, yes. All that sulking looks like a desperate cry for help. ❜
❛ I have a feeling I’m going to regret this, but— Do you want to talk about it? ❜
Malia is taken by Rebekah Mikaelson for the ritual sacrifice to make Klaus into a Hybrid. They are able to save Malia and Damon Salvatore, but not without a hitch. Upon realizing that the Mikaelson family might have backups, they rush to find where the sacrifice is taking place and stop it once and for all. Unfortunately, they are too late when they arrive and are met with an unwelcome surprise.

❛ So you’re saying you weren’t a victim of the 80s fashion? Because I can picture you with leather pants and a mullet. ❜
❛ How old do you think I am? My decade was certainly the 90s. I used to rock the whole Grunge look. ❜
( elena g. ):
·❛·The 50s might not be the most magical era America’s witnessed, but at least the outfits were cute.·❜
❛·You’re right, it was one of the most charmingeras regarding to fashion—much better than the 80s with all the leather andanimal prints and the hair.·❜
( lydia m. ):
There were always speedbumps at any party - especially in Mystic Hills, but the McCall pack birthday had finished without any major hiccups. Certain uninvited people had gatecrashed, but gatecrashers were an unavaoidable symptom of all great parties - and Lydia only threw great parties. After helping to do some cleaning, she’d picked up her coat, slipping it on over the thin material of her dress to help fight away the cold on her walk home. Her house was too close to the Lahey residence for ordering a cab to make any sense, so instead she’d elected to hurry home alone, more effort going into not falling from the combination of alcohol and high heels than she showed.·
She was almost home when someone stopped before her; bringing a frown to her brow before she tried to walk past them, a hand grabbing her wrist and tugging her back. She knew spells to defend herself, but nothing came to hand at the moment, the fog of alcohol stripping all she knew from memory as she felt a palm hit her cheek. She registered that there were two of them, her attempts at reasoning or running proving futile with her hands held behind her, the same palm making contact with her cheek once again. She should be able to get away - to hurt them and run, but fatigue and drunkeness clouded reason and instead gave way to fear - her heart beating harder in her chest as she tried to yell for help through the hand that covered her mouth, stumbling legs trying to kick free as threats spilled from her attackers’ lips.
This could have been so much easier, he thinksidly as he watches the girl be shoved and slapped and insulted by three man. They are the kinds of dim-witted brutes who would never scare Lydia Martin in anormal situation; it's saddening to see how a little alcohol is more thanenough to get her so out of sorts, incapable of protecting herself. Had herbeen with him from the start, she would certainly have learned to never let herselfbecome that vulnerable.
Peter can tell that they are enjoying it. Thefrantic, excited beat of their hearts, the first hints of arousal, sharp in theair like the smell of ozone, tells the werewolf that these men are happy tohave found such a sweet little prey for the night. It makes his top lip curl indistaste; regardless of what anyone thinks of him, Peter finds no joy inmindless violence. He only sees it as a means to an end, a necessary evil.
“Now, this is no way to treat a lady,” the wolfsays, stepping out of the darkness, letting himself be seen. These men have noidea who he is, – transaction being entirely made by phone, payment upfront bydeposit – they look at him as nothing more than someone trying to stop themfrom getting a prize as valuable as the redhead on the floor. They’re alreadytoo far down the rabbit hole, too taken by the trill of violence to notice thedangerous glint in Peter’s eyes as he approaches. It doesn’t take long, really. He doesn’t need to show even a glint of fang, and soon all three assailants arebeing dropped, bloodied but still alive, by the sidewalk. He squats in front ofthe witch after he’s done, cleaning blood from his hands with a handkerchiefproduced from his pant pocket. “Lydia, can you hear me?” He asks in a calmvoice, waiting for some response from the drunk, shocked teenager.

“Somehow turning a year older never makes me feel any different.”
❛ Let’s have this conversation again when you turn forty. ❜
( stiles s. ):
“ Man– there are too many greek gods. ”
❛ Not that many. You could probably pull off Hermes. ❜
( logan f. ):
“depressing is one word for it. i think of it more as a lack of childhood.”
❛ I can probably relate to that. ❜
( elena g. ):
❛ But it’s the chance we get to pretend it’s part of our normal lives. I’m sure you can understand —you were young once, right? ❜
❛ I’m a born werewolf, sweetheart. The supernatural world has always been my normal life. ❜
( derek h. ):
“Well, this is the only time people are allowed to take candy from strangers. All I asked was if you were going to help decorate the house this year, Peter, no need to get cynical. “
❛ Oh, my sweet summer child. When have you ever seem me not get cynical over celebrations? ❜
( matt d. ):
“I’ll at least give it a try and I’ll see how things work out. Knowing this town, there will be some kinda real Demon causing trouble anyway. Happy now?”
❛ No, not really. Though the annoyance in your face is pretty amusing. ❜
( elijah m. ):
“I do surely hope no one will be this foolish to invoke another demon when the town is celebrating. I believe we have had enough of that. An opinion I hope is shared by all those capable of calling out demons. Still, it might be too much to hope for in this town.”
❛ Well, if I was one of the people capable of doing it, I would see the celebrations as perfect timing. ❜
