Life’s been hectic but I’m forcing myself to make time for my art ❤️ I’ve been experimenting more with the way I ink and I’m trying out curated color palettes. So far I’m eh on my coloring but loving the way my lines are turning out 👌

I’ve been obsessed with BOTW as of late so have some Links I sketched up (I couldn’t decide on color or b&w).

// short life update below:

I quit my job yesterday. Sadly where I worked was a major factor in me taking a long break from creating (among other problems). I’m rusty so I promised myself I’d sketch or paint at least once a week. I’ll be looking for another job soon, one that’s let’s me be an artist on the side. I was robbed of my creative energy for over a year but there was a positive that came from it. In that time I’ve figured out the direction I want to take my work. It’s going to be rough, lots of pieces I know I’m going to struggle with to get to where I want to be. I’m eager to push myself and learn new techniques. Thank you to my followers who have been so patient with me. Life has not been easy but thanks for sticking around during my absence ❤️

Hello long time no post! I’ve been gone -checks calendar- well far to long tbh...

In-between my busy work schedule I’ve been pushing myself to create environments for my characters. It’s been a struggle but rewarding to finally be at a place where I can finally show some WIPS. I’m pushing myself to incorporate my illustrations into conceptualized backgrounds that tell a narrative of where my OC’s are from. I’m used to drawing the human form so landscapes are proving to be an interesting challenge 😅 Danys gone through some changes as well (including a name change in the future).

Moodar, a wonderfully eccentric demon that runs a little magic shop full of surprises 👀 He’s a home brew monster from a dnd campaign I was in a while ago (he was a personal fave to interact with). I started this piece months ago but couldn’t find the time to finish it until now. Moodar was also created by the lovely @devilprismatic so if you like his design, you can thank her for that! 😄
