This bill is not necessary. C.AI and other chat bots already disclose they are not humans.

They say they want to protect minors from AI soliciting Sexual Content BUT Why are they not more worried about the Esptein list not being disclosed. That occurred with real people! Real children who are now adults.

This law is just another way they are trying to force Age Verification in!

WHO SHOULD I TELL ABOUT THE KIDS ONLINE SAFETY ACT???

First and foremost, contact any senators who you know opposes these laws. The more political officials oppose this, the more likely our governments will repeal it. Please do background checks on them. If people find that the leading senator(s) opposing these laws is a confirmed predator, the media will eat us alive!!!

Contact and tell everyone you know about these new laws. Not just your online friends, but your family, your local businesses, your teacher, your professor, your co-workers at work, your boss. Don't harass them, be polite and tell them exactly what these acts do and how it can affect them. And if they agree that it's bad, great! Tell them to spread the word further!

Offer different alternatives to these laws. Put a parental lock on your child's account, put a parental lock on your child's device, filter sites from your router

Print flyers opposing these laws along with summaries of what's happening, what these laws mean, and why people should oppose it (again, we are saying "no" to something called the Kids Online Safety Act. We are going to need to use every strong argument we have)

Don't have a printer? Create a public presentation!!!

If you're favorite content creator is streaming, ask them if they know about the Online Safety Act and AI age verification (remember, it's not just YouTube being regulated, but the entire internet) in their chat. Please don't harass them!!! You will be blocked. Even if they say, "Yeah, I heard about it." Someone in their audience probably didn't

[EDITED 8/30/25] On top of contacting your senators, you should also contact tech companies, large and small, to fight these new laws being introduced. Convince them to band together to protect their user's privacy and put forth better solutions to KOSA, the SCREEN act, and COPPA 2.0. Also, throw your support behind companies who are already fighting these laws. This not only negatively effects us, but them as well

The internet censorship and serveillance bill KOSA (the Kids Online Safety Act) is back and rearing its ugly head and has been reintroduced. But this time Senator Richard blumenthal and Known Transphobe Senator Marsha Blackburn are determined to get it through by including it a House Energy and Commerce Commitee “child safety” package that is set to be voted on after the shutdown is over. We CANNOT let this happen. This weekend I need to see and hear everyone call House leadership and bug the hell out of them to not support KOSA. Call them. Email them. FAX them as well. Waste their ink. We beat kosa before and we can do it again. It hasn’t moved in the house or senate, but we need to do everything we can to make sure it stays that way. Remember the UK’s “Online Safety Act” is a KOSA copycat bill. They got their bs from us. So if you don’t want us to end up like that and be forced to verify your age to access stuff on the internet (aka that new bs policy on YouTube) and give the government or anybody who can hack the power to watch and track everything you say and do on the internet, fight this!

The second the govt shutdown is over, they are going to move on this bill. We need to jump ahead of the curve. FFTF recently sent out an email saying they are expecting a House vote soon.

We need to mass call, email, and fax House Leadership to tell them that we don’t want this! We beat KOSA before and we can do it again!

I am urging you VOTE NO on KOSA, the Kid's Online Safety Act. This is a dangerous bill that will harm children and censor conservative content online. This bill would be weaponized by unelected bureaucrats to censor Americans, why else do you think Democrats are pushing it so hard?

In Britain, their version of KOSA censored conservative speech online. We do NOT need KOSA here. Many news organizations have reported that this bill actively harms kids by exposing their private data to strangers under the guise of protecting them. We need to hold Big Tech accountable, but KOSA is not the solution. How is Big Tech against this if Apple, Microsoft, Snapchat, and Twitter all support it?

Any state attorney general can sue any website for "harmful" content. Do we really want blue state lawyers deciding what can and can't be allowed online? That's why they support KOSA. Multiple experts agree this bill pushes age verification. KOSA hands more private data of children to third party companies, which would put all of us in danger.
