It's my 15 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳
Ah, how time flies!
I went to a renaissance festival over the weekend with dear friends and saw some great acts, had great food, made new acquaintances, and ran into Santa on holiday. Even across galaxies and realms, he knows if you've been naughty or nice. His lightsaber was candy cane-colored and he of course prefers the light side of the Force. May the Fourth be with you!
And another April surprise! You can hear me narrate this fun comic dub of "Uncle Scrooge and the Midas Touch" with some talented folks! Check it out above! #VoiceActor #DonaldDuck #ComicDub

On this Pokémon Day, I'm throwing back to that one time we had a Pokémon event at Target. I still have the shirt, gloves, Poké Ball, and that hat somewhere.
Hey! There's a new audio drama out, and I'm in it with a bunch of lovely folks! Check out the first episode of "Orphan Six" above, and stay tuned for more to come!
And now for a different kind of robot!Â
We have evolved beyond the need for illusionists. Stage magic is only performed by cardboard robots from now on.
One of my favorite things I got for Christmas is this Boba Fett potted faux plant. I don’t know why, but it just makes me smile every time I look at it.
My family’s in Florida… and I’m in… New York?

The Big Leagues (Static joins the Dini-verse)
[All images are owned by DC Comics and Warner Bros-Discovery. I hope I’m too small-fry to sue…]
Season 1 of Static Shock was peimarily establishing Static and the other metahumans known as “Bang Babies” and Dakota City (which, according to DC Comics, is based off of Detroit)
However, the beginning of season 2 saw the series being folded into the Dini-verse in a major way. If you would like to watch the episode where it happened, it’s available on HBO Max or behind your favorite paywall.
We open to a farmers’ market in Dakota.
(Thanks to The World's Finest)
Why indeed, Richie…
The Bang Babies in Joker’s gang  (and their powers) are: Hotstreak (fire-generation), Krangor (his large feet allow him to leap high), Talon (her ability should be obvious) and Shiv (who can transform his hands into weapons)
Also, if this wasn’t the kid-friendly Dini-verse, Ferret wouldn’t be laughing his way out of the gang, but he would leave with a smile, right Sal?
Anyway, enough with the callback. Let’s move on with our story and find out about those fire trucks (three guesses who stole them)
Yeah, that tracks.
In the other truck, Shiv sucks up, saying the Joker’s puns kill him. Krangor’s a bit more pragmatic.
I dunno…Ferret came out OK, right?
…right?
The fire trucks park in front of a bank and the gang goes in to make an unauthorized withdrawal
when…
The fire trucks’ water cannons and some high-powered bottle rockets from the Joker take Static down.
As Static is recovering, he hears some laughter from the back of the truck the gang left behind. He finds…
…and a note:
Later, at Dakota General Hospital…
(Thanks again to The World’s Finest)
Well, if Joker’s involved, you know Batman wouldn’t be far behind.
Unfortunately for Static and Batman, Talon was spying on the hospital. She reports back to “Uncle J.”
Later at Joker’s hideout, Shiv wonders what Krangor’s issues are with the Joker, given their success with him.
Yeah, the Joker’s not known for loyalty to his underlings. Just ask Harley.
Upstairs, Joker’s not taking the news of Batman’s arrival well.
Shiv has the bright idea of going after Batman first. Joker likes this idea (I’m gonna guess “Uncle J” sends his minions to get beat up soften the heroes first)
Later, Richie and Virgil discuss the events of last night. Richie offers to find out where Joker might be based on what they found on Ferret’s shoes as Virgil spots Talon overhead. One electro-charged costume change later and Static hits the air!
Static trails Talon to an old subway tunnel and calls in the Dynamic Duo.
...or not.
Fortunately, Static has another way to let them know: he creates a lightning-charged “Bat Signal”
Batman arrives and benches Static as he and Robin enter the tunnel. Suddenly…
One short fight later, along with a few knockout bombs (because there’s no way Joker would let four Bush Leaguers take out the Dark Knight instead of him) and the Caped Crusaders are captured!
Outside, Static waits impatiently for word that he’s needed for mop-up duty. Suddenly, he’s nearly run over by an armored fire truck! On the back, he spies…
He’s about to chase after them when…
Krangor and Hotstreak apparently drew the short straws for distraction duty. The collapse the tunnel, trapping Static inside. Fortunately, he’s able to free himself, but not before they get away.
Static then contacts Richie to see if he’s found anything, but he doesn’t have enough to work with.
Richie has an idea for Static to lock in on Batman’s communicator using his powers (yeah, he can hear radio waves if he wants) He finds the Batwing and uses it to track down its owners.
Later at Joker’s hideout…
(Thanks to The Night Beyond)
All in all, not a bad introduction into the Dini-verse, but not the last time Static’s world will intersect with the modern Dini-verse (we know he will in at least one potential future)
It's time! This year's Christmas cover is of Johnny Mathis's brilliant version of Jim Brickman's "Sending You a Little Christmas"! Check it out above! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!
It's time! I thought I'd get a little "weird" for Halloween this year: the man, the myth, the parody legend-- "Weird Al" Yankovic!
So, who'd like to join me at the Hardware Store? Or maybe we should check out the nearby Amish Paradise. Maybe we should get some lunch and Eat It while checking out Jurassic Park? If not, then maybe I should put on my Truck Driving Song while we're making our way through Albuquerque to go [Lose] on Jeopardy. Y'know what, I think I'll call Ricky instead and watch as The Saga Begins again.
It's spookin' time! You can hear me as Col. Bassett along with a simply magical cast in part one of The Donald Duck Project's comic dub of "Mickey Mouse and the House of 7 Haunts," out now!
Blessed Spook
