before the prequel manga dropped, I'd some ideas in 2020 what a pre-exploration A2 model might have looke like. Since Emil remarks how similar she looks to Kainé, I tried to work in some refrences to Kainé's styling.

Adolf to Roberto across the years. You have to pry my headcanon that he was a Romeo-trap spy out of my cold dead hands. Another headcanon of mine is him in 20s to 30s having looked close to the more ruggish, more meaty masculine ideal. He probably gained some weight after graduating 511 as food didn't get ridigly controlled anymore, and eating with delight is one of the few liberties he allowed himself whereas remaining dutiful in line in every other aspect. (He could excuse his many fancy dinners having to take out his seduction targets.)

When many Boatpeople immigrated into West Germany, they couldn't find any soy sauce in Western Germany first. Either they'd to go into rare specialty import stores or… they used Maggi sauce as not so bad substitute. With some Vietnamese people visiting or moving back home, Maggi also found it's place on Vietnamese sauce shelves.

In the GDR, Bido was the GDR Maggi-imitation.

When possible Gilbert also organized smuggled Maggi bottles for Lien.

yeah so nudist beaches were quiet the thing in GDR. (They still are a common thing in Germany in general.)

Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.
