I'm in the airport about to come home from LA and I swear to god I'm gonna post the first part of this fic later this week once I get eyes on it. I did zero writing on my vacay but it was so refreshing I feel creatively super-powered.

UMMMM @emmayame tagged me in this WIP meme thingy which warmed my heart right up but I literally only have one! One WIP! 

It’s this Reyder thingy that I’m calling Cannibal’s Hymn and it might be about halfway done maybe? It’s about anti-imperialist direct action and crossword puzzles. Kind of. I have the first half of it sitting in a google doc waiting for my buds to tell me I’m bad at writing so I can fix it. I might dispense it in chapters, which is new and different for me. 

That said, I guess technically my writing folder is a WIP graveyard but none of it is Mass Effect so it DOESN’T COUNT. 

I’m pretty sure everyone I know of in this fandom has done this already but I’ll tag @vorchagirl and @scientistsalarian just in case because tagging is a nice thing to do. <3

Remember when Reyes had Sloane shot in a dank-ass cave and then immediately afterward he and Ryder had the “we’re going steady now” talk and just straight-up made out up against a wall? I was thinking last night that that whole scene must have been super awks for the sniper. Do you think he came down like “hey guys! I did the thing you want--oh...shit...uh...I’ll just...uh...sorry I’ll just clean that...dead body up...I guess. Don’t mind me.”

people in fanfiction are so good at identifying v specific smells. I literally struggle to identify vanilla when I’m sniffing a candle labelled “VANILLA” how are these kids getting woodsmoke, rain, mint, and a whiff of byronic despair from a fuckin tshirt

Once I read a fic where they were like “he tasted like” and I’m expecting the typical formula (1 cooking ingredient + 1 natural phenomenon + “something uniquely [character name]”) but instead they said “he tasted like mouth” and it was one of the greatest fic moments of my life

I’m working on a pretty long fic, hence the little snippets I’ve dropped here, but I don’t have any ME fic on my Ao3 yet. If you want me to hurry up with it you can bug me about it, I find harassment very motivating. Also I’ve never written chaptered fic and I’m considering maybe trying that for the first time? Reyes Vidal Dialogue

Alright!!! I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten as much as I can of the Reyes dialogue. Over time I will update this and get more comprehensive dialogue, as I am missing a few things. But I have every line that I’ve ever been able to get Reyes to mutter. All dialogue options, all interrupt choices, just about every option I can think to tweak in order to find new dialogue lines. Still missing Scott/Sara mentions, but they will be added later.

The file is marked now to anyone with the link can comment. So if you have edits to the dialogue, or have heard the dialogue pieces I’m missing, you can now comment and I will add them later.

I tried to get everything word for word, but since I’m playing on Xbox and can’t screen capture everything, some things might be worded differently. I’m only human.

Anyway. All you Reyder writers out there, have fun!
