I feel richer than ever before

A painting I made a few months ago just out of the feeling, with no meaning or intentions. Today however I think I just started to understand it. This will be the only painting that I'll take back to Belgium with me because it will always remind me of my exchange and most of all of what this year did to me. You feel the loneliness the endlessness of the sky and you have to do it on your own. You are this person, a strong fixed person, you believe that you know exactly who you are, a pyramid, strong an unchangeable but with a strong base a base that has been formed in Belgium by my parents, my friends my past. But if you look up you see something else, something new and scary and the more you discover the unknown the more you start to sparkle until there are so many sparkles that that once so dark sky is full of stars and light and sparkles. The base is still there but the spark is so much more exciting and if you want to grow, the only way is up
