Meet Aveline!

@auveiss posted a free to grab model of Aveline, so I really wanted to make some animations of her

Also, while setting up the skybox for the render, I accidentally found a new wallpaper for myself lol

Made some extra pics because I love the model and the sky I set up for her render

And an another one, I screenshotted this mostly bc I love that I got to organize my shader nodes like this now

I wanted to try imitating one of Auveiss' older art to see how well the model holds up compared to the real thing, but eventually I decided to make my own pose (the previous pic)

If you want to try the skybox as well, Either follow the world shader nodes in the screenshot, or follow most of this tutorial, then slap blender's built-in sky texture at the end

Also, Seeing this post at 4.6k+ notes is...alot lol. It's fanart, but I'm glad y'all like it haha

Was in the middle of learning to model a ch3 character, but things started feeling too tricky/complex, so i put a pause on it and modelled some simpler guys for the time being

Maybe i can rig them for a future animation, but for nowwww, a gif.

Today's Physical Challenge: Rock, Paper, Scissors!

So i finally got sprite animations figured out! Took an extra blender addon but it's working now

pretty fun to work with! I took an ingame sprite of Kris to suffer in the middle while being barraged by 3 seperate 360 renders of Tenna

It's!! Intermission!! Time!!!

Oh god is this what it feels like to be productive i have not played games in days

I'm in an obssessive fever with deltarune & digital circus right now, particularly with the latter's amazing intermission scene from the latest episode 5

Right now, the best thing to come out of this obssession? I've found a motivation to get back into practicing blender & animation again!

So at the moment, I've gone from trying to make custom sprites, to daring to dream higher & replicate digital circus' intermission scene. That one's gonna be a lot harder since I'll have to learn other stuff like after effects & modelling & rigging & textures and.... oug

But for now, I want to animate what i can before i dive into the trenches for the hell that is actually making my own models for the intermission scene floating in my head, so I decided to animate at least one shot from it.

God help me I hope someone makes intermissionrune before i try to dive deeper into this myself

finally animating something, based off 2 of his sprites from the start of chapter 3

I am getting addicted to Blender, all because i wanted funny tv man pics

I gave him a little fluttering on this pose, i figured he could use some as a treat

Also, i gave him a chair

& a friend

I wanna work on some animations next, but these few have been pretty fun

This one was a real doozy, I spent a whole day trying to figure out the compositing lol, since i wanted him to render on a bigger resolution without removing his pixelization

the first couple tutorials i found, they weren't working that well since the rendering only seemed to return a blurry output

Thankfully, i found a twitter post (but still struggled with figuring things out until i checked it on nitter) and, after checking the proper tutorials, I was finally able to render him properly on a bigger picture size!

That took me a whole day to figure out lol, googling was a little unhelpful until it gave me a reddit post, which linked to the twitter post, which linked an extra tutorial vid

But also, my compositing setup, just so you don't have to struggle the way i did lol, if you're also trying to do pixelated renders
