Hey friends, if you wanna do a girl a favor, send me your sweet fluff about your OCs and what they were/are like as new parents pre- or post-war, or older parents much later when they’ve got the hang of it, and how much they love their kids and what they do together and the funny stuff about falling asleep in an arm chair, both drooling and the spouse finding them like that, just drooling on each other, please. I could really use that kind of fluff today. :’) I probably won’t have the energy for long chats but if you send asks or reblog with your stories, I will absolutely read everything and react; everything works. Nobody needs to, obviously, zero obligations but just. if you have stories and anecdotes you wanna share, I would be so so grateful for them.

kingsport is a safe haven my sosu/oc druncle runs. over time it’s grown into a beautiful place thanks to a lot of wonderful characters (and their creators) i’ve gotten to meet. particularly the children. oh god, the kids!

their world is a blighted place (you know.) here, there’s innocent laughter and the young can get into the sweet and silly kinds of trouble they ought to be getting get into (instead of scrounging, cold, and violence.) your adage of it takes a village is starkly true. there are children who have grown up their lives here.

kind of seeing the fruits of one’s labor after a long time searching. be they realize it or not, they are a part of something very important to him; failure of a father, broken tin soldier. here, he decides he is happy. and the dogs run with them deep in Her, the city’s, driftwood face turned white by salt, and a shoreline irradiated and filled with monsters still– still, yes, but not forever.
