i'm not good enough.

got demoted in ranked earlier today. my kda has been slaughtered by the recent games i've played. i can't help but feel the guilt of losing those games, but considering how polarized all the losses have been (one of which includes an ff@20 of 2 to 20), i know the majority of them weren't really my fault. still it sucks. not as good as i want to be at this game. gotta keep going and shit.

i have a friend who complains about the same issue a lot. i don't. the thing is, i'm behind him in total games played (i'm nearing a thousand, he has twice that) and w/l difference (i'm +50, he's over that). the matchmaking will pair him with players that have a similar amount of games played by default. but if i don't have the same complaint he does, even though i'm literally matched with people who have less experience, then, are the people in his games really stupid, or is he just being negative? from what i've noticed the game is about luck. who you get matched with, what they pick, when they pick it, how experienced they are both with the pick and that situation that pick is in. these are critical things you can't control that affect your w/l.  however, i think the attitude you approach the game with has a noticeable effect too. because if i'm actually getting paired with people who are less experienced and yet i have positive interactions in the game, why is he getting paired with players who have more experience yet having negative interactions? i think perspective and personal approach really change the way the game feels and even its outcomes. i think this confession is an example of a player looking at and magnifying negative moments unnecessarily.

so okay botrk getting buffed is srs bsns. you took an item which was relatively good and powerful and made it stronger, then immediately question its strength through a hotfix that was like, what, four days after the changes?  then there's the infamous diana nerfs, where you made her goddamn orbs smaller than her auto-attack range.  and of course, the pre-season black cleaver, which turned top lane into a "who can stack this item the hardest" race, which was soon corrected in about a couple weeks or so. hashshin made a point, too, that riot relentlessly changes shit over and over again, to the point where there is no stable meta, and gives us no chance to work against what's been considered strong. instead, riot, too swiftly, reacts to the complaints and nerfs/buffs in ways that make people pretty fucking confused. btw it's painful to agree hashshin. that guy's a twat. but he's a right twat this time. riot you've had a lovely, lovely run of patches and whatnot. but this start of S3...idk bro. we gotta figure shit out man.

yeah idk i've seen girls do multiple roles. they're just people after all. i guess there's something to being a girl and playing mid/support since that's usually what i see them do, but i've known girls who are quite flexible at anything. both league-wise and sexually.

TOP FIVE THINGS I WISH THE LEAGUE COMMUNITY WOULD DO

1. STOP CALLING MID. you're not as good at it as you think. shit, the most adamant mid laners (you know, the ones that type it instantly like the game depends on it) are the ones pushing their lanes getting fucking wrecked by the jungler. "omg i'm getting camped" omg you're incompetent. 2.  ...BUT YOU SHOULD PROBABLY LET SOMEONE PLAY IT ...if they say they can't play another role. especially when the jungler role is left. sure, you can fuck up in lane. i've seen it done hard. but jungling's a very delicate role that can be daunting as shit when the person is unsure of themselves in it. not to mention everyone flames him promptly for underperforming. 3.  STOP FIGHTING AT CHAMPION SELECT you know how everyone claws for the sniper rifle in halo. but they all suck dick at it anyway? we're all shitheads, and no one's asian enough on the NA servers to be good. let's embrace our mediocrity please. 4.  STOP ENGAGING WHEN I'M WARDING FUCK WHAT I JUST SAID I WAS WARDING THE RIVER WHAT HAPPENED 5. i usually don't like to use this tumblr for philosophical shit but i think this is a common thing people don't get. i can't really speak for everyone, i guess, but the majority of why i hate people bitching about overly sexualized chicks is because of the following: 1. All the characters are "overly sexualized". the men have impossible proportions in the way chicks would probably prefer we looked. yeah chicks don't want our bodies ridiculous like garen or darius, but the same can be said for us dudes too; we don't actually want our chicks in real life with tits like sona and an ass like frostblade irelia. the fantasies of a video game are not the realities of attraction. this is a matter of fact for both genders. but you can't tell me bitches don't got stranger fantasies about tryndamere. don't lie to me. 2.  this is riot's game. you're just a player in it. you cannot come in to someone else's creation and decide that you dictate that creativity. and even though some of the uptights who complain like this confession probably do invest money into the game, guess what; you don't have to. if you don't like it, leave. if you won't leave, don't complain. riot chooses to project its characters as it wants to and will continue to do so. and they're perfectly allowed to. 3.  it's fucked up to suggest that sexuality isn't "interesting", as implied in the comment. this is kinda multi-faceted so i'll bring it down briefly: A) there's no standard for what is interesting or not.  it's a matter of personal preference. B) this shits on people who just so happen to be sexually attractive irl. it's kind of alienating to them isn't it? oh wow you're sexually appealing you must be so uninteresting. this all just boils down to 3 A), though, doesn't it? if we like us some ahri sexy sex then let us like some ahri sexy sex. that's our choice. if you like some musty sultry gragas action, that's your choice too. let's not fuck with each other about that please.  and yes i'll wack off to nidalee's splash art any day. with no shame.
