An orc hole refers to any cave or dungeon where someone who has eaten the orc fungus seeks shelter (or, in the case of those who are forced to consume them, are imprisoned) while they undergo their transformation. More sophisticated operations will have multiple rooms for this purpose so that the first few to transform do not kill the others, but in most cases the first blood spilled by a new orc will be from their own kind.

Orc holes are met with extreme prejudice upon discovery. Sun wizards are particularly sought out for this purpose, as their flames are able to make short, quick work of any fungus stockpiles they may encounter.
