Slasher Scent Headcanons?
This is super random but I got to thinking about what they might smell like for some reason. I feel like this might be useful for people who write ABO stories and need ideas for the slashes. If you do use this as a bit of a guide for that, please let me know, Iâd love to read it!!
Ok, ok, we all know he smells like BO, sweat, blood, grime, etc.. but I feel like if he was getting ready for his sugar then he might wash up for them, spray some perfume on. I personally believe he has specific scents for specific masks/personas that he asked Choppy to help pick out due to the whole no nose issue. For the old woman/lady mask, he definitely wears something like Emeraude (it has a baby powder smell to it for those who donât know). I feel like the pretty woman mask is more floral, maybe even sweet. Lastly, of course his everyday/killing mask/persona switches, Iâve already mentioned the BO and whatnot but I feel like if heâs getting ready for his sugar heâll wear a scent youâve shown interest in or told him you liked⊠he also may or may not steal some of their perfume/cologne or body spray⊠donât question why the bottle is so empty. Also, yes, 99% of his perfumes are from victims.
Just like Bubba, this man smells like BO, blood, sweat, grime, etc but for his beloved heâd try and clean up more, maybe experiment with victims colognes (he gives the perfumes and body sprays to either his partner or his mother). He canât smell so of course he just goes by what he assumes smells good, whether itâs something masculine that makes them cuddle him for hours because they love the smell or some weird obscure scent that makes them wanna throw up is kinda hit or miss but he adjusts to what you like by watching. If they seem to avoid him more with a specific scent then heâll either throw it away or give it to Jed. I feel like heâd also wear a lot of nature scents with notes of things like pine, sandalwood, cedarwood, leather, vetiver, oakmoss, and tobacco.
Pumpkin spice. Kidding, but in all seriousness, I feel like he wouldnât really have a scent or it would depend on where he was, obviously in the asylum he smelled sterile and when he was in sewer- well- sewers smell like sewage so there was no escaping that scent while he was down there, but at home, with his partner, he just smells like whatever soap his partner buys him, he might occasionally put on some cologne or something for them but he prefers his natural scent.
Forest. This man just smells like the forest. You canât tell me that he smells like anything else other than forest. However, zombie Jason also has that undertone of rot/decay.. enjoy thinking about that one.
Sugar, popcorn, and latex (from balloons, get your mind out of the gutter). Need I say more? ⊠Heâs a clown and I feel like his ability makes it easy for him to keep that scent, plus it most likely helps lure kids in. He can also change it but prefers not to most of the time.
⊠Do I really have to say what this sadistic man smells like? Blood and death. He only masks it if heâs absolutely in love with someone and they ask him to.
Light colognes and perfumes. He hates super strong scents so he needs lights fragrances or he just wonât wear any. He definitely prefers florals, citrus (specifically lemon), and a mix of rosemary and lavender.
Honestly, whatever scent his partner likes. Heâs a âdream demonâ so heâs not entirely real, only existing in peopleâs nightmares so his scent changes depending on the person. Some say he smells like burnt flesh, smoke, and death while he actually doesnât have a scent. With his partner, he chooses to smell good, sometimes heâll even smell seasonal. If you drag him into reality through your nightmare then heâll keep whatever scent he has to you on that night.
