Work is far ahead and he’s determined to spend time with her for the meantime. Head tits back, chin up and eyes slightly squint while a hum simmers in the depths of his throat. Larry could tease on this one, but something, his instinct perhaps and that look in her eyes as she inquired, advised against it.

Kit stretches her neck, giving Larry all the space that he wants to keep doing….well, that. And while she can’t really do the same back, she can run the tips of her fingers through the hairs at the back of his head, scratching gently while she makes small hums each time his mouth is felt. Larry always tells her that she’s the one who teases and taunts, that she does things purposefully to make him react in the best of ways and goes into explicit detail over how those reactions make him feel. But right now, he’s the one….the one doing the teasing. And she wouldn’t change that for the world because when he does, it is magical.

 “No we don’t. Not sure I could magic up more grump-smooshing power at the moment” she sighs out, trying not to come off too over-affected by the kisses Larry bestows, and failing. “Besides, even taking the time to lift me up there is a waste. Means less of this”.

And then, from out of nowhere, there is a growl that did not come from Larry. “Oh my God!” she exclaims, blush rising rapidly. “I’m so sorry, but it appears my stomach might need us to put this in hold for a little bit and grab a bit of dinner. What do you fancy to eat love?”.

    ❛ Oh that’s your magical power is it? Grump-smooshing power? ❜  he laughs quite loud, reverbering against her skin which he keeps giving attention at different spots where he knows she loves having his lips upon. If he could, the redhead would freeze time to just make out with Kit for a long while, but there were responsibilities outside that unlocked door  with those five year old employees he’s got. ( He adores them, but he’ll never admit it... To their faces )

  ❛ That hungry baby? ❜ he laughs, looking up at her face to witness that lovely blush that quickly appears on her face. ❛ It’s alright, I think your stomach is pleading for us to take a bite somewhere before anything else. ❜ the man taps his chin in thought, ❛ We had Chinese the other day... I say we should go for Italian? Drew got lasagna into my head this morning.  ❜

“Because I’m an excellent liar,” Alma mumbled and allowed him to pull her in. She was still for a moment as she allowed him to hold her and she sighed. She pressed her face into his chest and absorbed his warmth, his scent into her lungs as her hand dropped the towel to the floor. Alma didn’t want to move at the moment, she wanted to stay right there.

    ❛ Then I must be getting better at reading them. ❜ the redhead mumbled, arms embracing her feeling her stiff figure for a brief moment until she gave into his arms and he could hold her better. Something must have really vexed her, he mused, his chin pressed to the top of her head. ❛ Tell me you’ve eaten something. ❜

His eyes flicker, away from whatever he’d been staring at while spacing out to the face of the man who seemed to have appeared in front of him out of nowhere. Right, the bartender.

He’d mostly come in there to escape from the rain for a while, not that there was too much of a point to that considering he’d already gotten soaked and it would likely still be raining when he left, but nevertheless there he was. And he probably should buy something. In addition to.. whatever drink he’d already bought. He hoped assumed it had been water.

“Food?” Oh, yeah, he probably should. Eat something, that is. Staring back into the bartender’s expectant eyes, he said the first thing that came to his mind, dimly aware of how stupid it was but lacking better options.

“I’ll have a lime. Or a lemon.” At least that was something they’d have around, right?

Tom, as semi-patient as he is, didn’t mind waiting for a bit more for an answer. Blue eyes settled upon the man – who seemed a little bit lost in his thoughts – but his fingertips absent-mindedly tapped on the bar’s surface like a random song.  He shouldn’t be doing that, he thought and stopped it at once.  However the answer was not one he expected...  ❛ A lime. ❜ he repeated ❛ or a lemon, uhm sure, I mean. Sure, let get it for you. ❜ The bartender was not one to judge, truth be told he had heard plenty of stories ( you know what they say, the bartender is like the perfect person to gift your troubles away ) and plenty of personalities came along as well. But, he had never been asked for just a lemon before. A few minutes later there he was, back with a lemon cut in half, a little plate with salt and paprika in case he wanted to... who knows. ❛ Here you go, lemon and a little extra. I’ll leave the menu for you here, just in case you want to order something else? ❜
