Headcannon Ben 10

The omnitrix fuzes with Ben. He tells no one when it happens. Just panics in his room as the presence of the device flares to life in the back of his mind. He'd never been able to feel the omnitrix before. Its freaky, at first. Realizing that he can communicate with it, that its sentient. But eventually he settles into the idea and it no longer unsettles him. It does, however, make him far more protective of it. The omnitrix knows a lot about the different species that it has stored in its database but it doesnt know much else of the world. When Vilgax comes back and this time, succeeds in taking what Ben now thinks of as his...friend? Kid? Sibling? Even he doesnt know yet but when Vilgax takes it, he sees red. He can feel what amounts to fear coming from the Omnitrix in the back of his mind. It doesnt know who this is or what is going on. All it knows is its farther from Ben than it has been in a long time and it doesnt like it. Vilgax laughs, thinking hes won but all Ben does is snarl. His head twitches to the side and his eyes begin to glow That Green. As Vilgax's laugh fades out all Ben does is Transform

When the Marines find out that Luffy and Zoro are married, they collectively shit themselves. The Demon Future Strongest Swordsmen and the nigh on Unbeatable Future Pirate King together? They're fucked. They panic and raise both their bounties when they find out. When news of the new bounties hits the crew, Luffy and Zoro both laugh themselves silly and they all celebrate.

Therein lies the issue. Art programs, both visual and performance based, are the first programs to be cut. Canvas ain’t cheap. Neither are the supplies. Much of the graffiti that takes place IS on buildings that are run down. The gov’t didn’t place any value on these properties and yet get pissy with dudes “vandalizing” their shit. You can’t have it both ways, ya dig.

My father was a garment contractor in LA. In the late 80s, he owned the building where he had his factory. He thought it would be a cool idea to commission local graffiti artists, usually young Black and Latino men looking to stay out of trouble, to paint murals on his buildings. After all, he runs a garment design/manufacturing company, and creative signage is great advertising.

One day, he showed up to the building and the city just painted over the murals without permission or notice.

First, the city told him he couldn’t have graffiti art on HIS building because it brought down property value. After he complained, then they said: ok you can do this, but you need a permit. After he got the permit, then the city said: ok, but you can only use these artists. Of course, these artists were all White graphic design students from USC, and of course they charged 3x more.

There is a prejudice against this type of art, and it’s racial. Banksy vandalizes folks buildings all the time, and folks treat him like the Messiah. He ain’t doing nothing new that Black and Brown folks haven’t done for decades.

Lots of asks about dressing recently so I’m making this ask into a post:

So before I start I would just like to point out that the biggest differentiation when dressing “masculine” “feminine” or “androgynous” is shape. Shape is key. At the end of the day the colors and designs of your outfit mean next to nothing compared to the cut. Which is something you should keep in mind when you go out shopping.

How to Dress Masculine

Obviously the easiest way to dress masculine is to buy men’s clothes. So if you’re down to do that, then totally go for it! Just make sure to find things that fit and that make you feel good.

The next best thing to buying men’s clothing is buying from “boyfriend” clothing lines. This is good especially if you’re AFAB and can’t just waltz into the men’s clothing dept. You will be surprised how many “boyfriend’ articles there are. A lot of stores have clothes like “boyfriend tees” “boyfriend jeans” etc. The best way to find these is to shop online, just go to your favorite store and search for it. Also please don’t be too dissapointed if they don’t have any said boyfriend clothes.

Okay so now here’s the hard part… how do you dress masculine with the clothes you’ve already got?

Again it’s all about shape. So loose fitting t-shirts. If you’re AFAB anything that doesn’t hug your waist. Sweaters are always a good option, and maybe stay away from sparkles. Not saying sparkles aren’t masculine, that’s just society. So if you want to fit into society’s view on masculine clothing then wear loose fitting t-shirts, muscle tees are always good, stick to overall darker colors, but don’t be afraid to throw in a little color here and there.

How to Dress Feminine

Okay, so feminine fashion will forever be lost on me, but here is what I know…

Again the most obvious way to dress feminine is to dive head first into the women’s clothing department. Of course you need to buy things that fit.

One of the worst things to do is buy loose clothing if you’re trying to dress more feminine. Buy something form fitting, show off your curves!

Now if you don’t have curves… well don’t worry at all. Cause you can make your own. Of course everyone can wear a dress, and yes that will make you look super feminine. If you don’t like to wear dresses though skinny jeans are always good. Maybe a nice skirt, or even some nice shorts (make sure they’re not too long). If you don’t have any women’s shorts you can roll up men’s shorts. The best way to feign curvage is to wear a belt at your waist, yes your waist not your hips!

Also wear lots of jewelry. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, hair accessories!

Unlike men, women aren’t as limited as far as fashion goes… it’s never “gay” for a women to look more masculine whereas men who dress feminine aren’t exactly revered. So as far as dressing feminine you can add some accessories to any outfit and call it feminine.

Also if you’re AMAB then really passing as feminine may require some makeup.

How to Dress Androgynous

Fashion-wise dressing androgynous has to be the most fun!

Personally I feel the best way to achieve an androgynous look is to mix up feminine and masculine items. So maybe you want to wear a loose fitting sweater and some joggers with a necklace and some lipstick.

Of course there are some stores that sell non-binary clothing. But those are really hard to find. I think the best way to look androgynous is to mix it up, don’t conform!

Wear a nice form fitting button up, and then a pair joggers. A mix of form-fitting and loose clothes is a really good idea to look androgynous. So maybe a pair of skinny jeans or leggings and a crop top, and a bomber jacket.

I feel that a lot of people think of androgynous fashion on a gray or nude color scale, but don’t ever be afraid to add a pop of color to your outfit. Blacks, whites, and greys are nice… but don’t be afraid to add some highlights!
