AMEN.
Went to take a picture of my sweat stains (yes, I'm weird and am proud of them and wanted to share) but I wore a red shirt and you couldn't see them in any picture I took.😩 So, anyway I went 2 miles instead of 1 and ran .6 of the first mile and walked the rest and did HIIT on the 2nd mile. Now I'm looking super rough😳😁.
Gonna get back on track! Staaarrrttttiinnnngggg NOW. Eating healthy and in a little while when it cools off a bit I'm gonna go see how quick my mile is.

Gotta remember - slow and steady. Slow and steady wins the race. Why do I say that? Because sure, I know what I could do to get lean very quickly: no carb, eat 600 cals a day, workout for 3 hours a day, no junk, eat like a rabbit. Would it get me to lose weight? Sure. Will it be all fat? No. itll be muscle and bone as well. Will I be able to maintain it and is it healthy for my body physically and my mind mentally? HELLTOTHENOOOO.🙆🙆🙆 I did all that last year. THAT is what led me to metabolic damage🙈, THAT is what made me binge🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰, and THAT is what made me gain all the weight and fat back and more🙍! It wasnt maintainable for life. I couldn’t do that 5 years from now. So what am I doing now? Taking it slowly🕜. Realizing it’s a PROCESS. I’m eating carbs, fats, protein. Only working out for about an hour a day. Not eating super clean! But guess what? I’ve been losing about 1 pound a week, dropping slowly my body fat%, enjoying all my foods, not cutting food and not starving. What’s that mean? That means when I reach my goal, I won’t be TERRIFIED of gaining it all back! Last year I ate so little that I was so scared any increase would equal FAT! And it did because I l ate so little for so long! But now once I reach my goal, ill be able to maintain at my current food intake! Which is enough for me bc I’m always STUFFFEDDDD! Basic point; take it slowly. Don’t try and do it too fast. QUICK FIXES=SHORT TERM RESULTS. Taking it day by day doing it the RIGHT WAY and realizing it’s a process = LIFETIME AND LONGTERM RESULTS!
