pretentious moment incoming but why is everyone's idea of fashion so fucking boring these days. why the fuck did my manager just ask me "what's with the scarf". "what's with the scarf" fuck man do I need a reason to wear a faggy little scarf now? you could just say "nice scarf man". what's with your attitude
Mean Girls (2024) dir. Mark Waters
Hey guys! I'm just letting you all know that I won't be active that much today.
Me and a bunch of psychos on Tumblr are celebrating the death of some old Roman politician.
Wooooahdude I just found this out but you're heirloom tomatoes actually. Did you know this
Because you're so

Haydn - Die Schöpfung [The Creation]
Regarded as his greatest masterpiece, The Creation is the cumulation of Haydn’s orchestral and choral writing, and is also his most grand statement of his personal faith. The text is a combination of passages from Genesis, Psalms, and Milton’s Paradise Lost. With a combination of word painting, musical painting, solo passages, orchestral meditation, and choirs, the work in its entirety is an overwhelming exultation. After successful premieres in Vienna and London, the work quickly skyrocketed to be the “must see” event of the time. People were traveling across Europe to attend performances. At the Vienna premiere, crowds were out the door full of people who didn’t have tickets but wanted to hear the anticipated work. Napoleon traveled to Paris to hear the work, and along the way he was almost the victim of an assassination attempt. And he still went to the show! It’s hard to think that people were not walking but running to hear this music performed with the same zeal that people nowadays rush to pop stars. Then again, humans are the same now as they always have been. It’s hard to really give an overview of the music other than what I’ve said, but I will at least comment on the opening. The representation of chaos is full of unstable harmonies and unexpected changes in dynamics. It runs almost like a passage out of Wagner, and the transition from the unstable confusion into the glorious C Major pronunciation of light was something that was talked about for days after the premiere.

Listen the only thing I know about Simple Plan is that they were in a Scooby Doo episode and I’m not very familiar with the other two at all but I still did not expect that at all
*gasp* simple plan did the theme song for what’s new acooby doo!
I mean…that’s all I really know about them myself but 🤷🏾♀️
@siriusblacktothefuture I haven’t given you a bop in a while
This is why I love you
Simple Plan was featured several times in What’s New Scooby Doo, as well as writing some great fuck you dad songs.
Bitch
They sold their soul for that talent
GO BABY GO
I love this. I *love* this.
Not only does the child have the rhythm and their part down precisely, but also, they are clearly doing the very-small-child thing of reserving exactly nothing.
Children have to learn not to use all of the force they're capable of, adults mostly never use all of the force they are capable of, but here someone has given this child exactly the opportunity to use all of the force their body can produce, and do it musically.
The glee of that all-out effort in a context where clearly the people around them approve and appreciate their contribution? Amazing.
Took some searching, but I found him!
His name is Hinata and he's a 5th generation Taiko drummer who was born in September (maybe October) 2020, so he's about 3 1/2 in this video.
Confession: I have a friend who likes to text me at like 4am when he’s had nightmares or he can’t sleep or he just needs a friend. He thinks I’m always awake at 4am but really I go to bed around 12am and I change his text-tone to the loudest one I have just so it wakes me up when he needs me.
you’re the kind of friend everyone needs
I think that since its been a year since I made this post its time for an update. In the past year I’ve watched this post grow and grow, people I work with have told me about it as “this post I saw the other day” and they have no idea it’s my post. The person I wrote this about has even reblogged it. He is no longer texting me at 4am. Not because we no longer speak but because the nightmares have stopped. He and I both are in a much better place. Most often the only times he’s waking me up at 4am is when he’s pulling me closer to him while we sleep. He’s more than a friend now and I’m forever thankful to have him. Everyone messaged me saying he was lucky to have me but I think I was just as lucky to have him and I would do it all over.
