This game might as well be the most important game your school has played. It's the state championship,which the basketball team has never played in before.
Your eyes drift to your boyfriend who's running down the court wearing a red jersey with the number 26 plastered on the back. He's got possession of the ball and dribbles effortlessly like always. The bleachers cheer as he clears the ball down to his side.
He passes to one of his teammates once there a small opening in the defenders. Seonghyeon had always been amazing at basketball, but this year was different. He had become more confident in himself while on the court, but you couldn't place your finger on why.
You two had only began dating this school year, due to the similarities in classes. Though, you watched him on the basketball court for all the years he'd been playing in high school.
Making the varsity team as a freshmen made him the talk of the school. Now, three years later, he's even more talked about due to the improvement he's shown.
Pushing yourself out of your thoughts, you glance back up to the scoreboard, there's only 15 seconds left now. The other team pressures him as he approaches the 3 point line. You glance back up to the clock, just a few seconds left.
"C'mon, Sean!" Someone yells from the crowd.
You watch as he backs up, and then shoots. The buzzer goes off mid shot and the whole gym goes silent. Then, the net of the basketball hoop makes a swish sound and the refs call it a point. Seonghyeon just scored a three-pointer and a buzzer beater.
Your school won, more importantly, your boyfriend won this game. The students on the bleachers scream and run onto the court forming a crowd around Seonghyeon. He thanks them before pushing through to find you as quickly as possible.
You speed walk up to him, leaving your friends, he spots you and smiles. His arms fly open as he swoops you up into them, spinning you around once.
"You did it!" You exclaim.
"It's because of you." He says, making your brows furrow.
"Me? Seonghyeon, you literally did that all by yourself, it was amazing." You explain.
"I know, I know I shot the ball and stuff, but you're my lucky charm!" He defends. His answer makes your cheeks flush and you hide your face in his chest.
His arms tighten around you as he presses a long kiss to your head. He pulls back after a moment and you follow, looking up to make eye contact with him.
Your hand reaches up, brushing back the sweaty strands of hair that lay across his forehead. He leans in, looking down to your lips and your eyes widen.
"Here?" You ask, knowing he's not really one for pda on a usual basis.
"I'm too happy to care right now," He mumbles before cupping your cheek and pressing a kiss against your lips.
His lips, warm, soft, and gentle, move against yours slowly as he loses himself in the kiss. On the court, Seonghyeon is laser focused, never allowing himself a mistake or second of distraction but with you, it's different.
You smile into the kiss,
Seonghyeon lets himself go, he can loosen up and become something soft. It was a version of him other people didn't get to see. So him kissing you on the basketball court, in front of everyone, was a huge deal for the both of you.
You're broken apart by a whistle from on of his teammates who smirk at you two. His hand still rests on your cheek but then he drops it and reaches around your shoulders to pull your head into his chest. The other wraps around your waist
He laughs as his friends hit his back and congratulate him again. Through all these interactions, he never lets go of you. The only moment he does is when he is required to meet with the coach and participate in the congratulation ceremony.
You watch with the smallest tears in your eyes, so proud that your heart could burst. You know that he worked so hard to get here and watching him accomplish it was overwhelming.

James knew he would be getting a new personal manager, he was notified weeks ago. What the company failed to tell him was that his manager would be a girl. Unfortunately, for him, a very attractive one too.
Your first day of your new job was extremely scary. You had stood outside the building, reassuring yourself that everything would be fine. After taking a big deep breath, you step through the doors and check in at the front desk.
Your heals click on the tile floors as you walk with your MacBook tucked under one arm, an iced coffee in your hand.
After making your way up the elevator, you stop outside of the conference room. This is where you are going to meet James, and boy were you nervous.
There was no doubt that the man was attractive, but you needed to suppress that thought. You didn't work your ass off just to blow it because of someone with a pretty face... right?
So, you push open the door and greet the other members of the management team. They sit you down and explain that James was currently running late due to some traffic in the city. Then, you hear voices from the hallway and the door pushes open.
James walks in, the rest of the group trailing behind him. You greet each one of them with a bow as they enter. You swear you see James' eyes linger on you for a second as the team manager starts the meeting and the noise dies down.

One day, after a particularly grueling practice, James stormed out of the room. You saw him run off while you were mid conversation with the assistant dance choreographer, Minjun.
You look over to Minjun and excuse yourself. Just as you go to walk after James, Martin calls your name.
"Yes?" You ask as he pulls you aside.
"Hear him out, okay?" Martin pleads. James had told Martin about his growing and unbearable feelings months back, when he first started having them.

Being the one of the youngest stylists in the group was hard, unbearable sometimes. You hated being babied by the others, or even underestimated, which happened often.
After working your ass off for the longest time, you found yourself working within the building of HYBE. You specialize in the hair and makeup of the idols, more specifically a young boy named Juhoon.
Juhoon was known to be more quieter than his other members who were energetic, loud, and so funny. That being said, he intrigued you in a way, you'd been drawn towards his calm presence and softness.
Though Juhoon was calmer, he was in no way shy with you. Talking, laughing, and trying to pry open your closed off demeanor every time you got him ready for an event.
You contained yourself, constantly blocking off your real personality behind thick walls of professionalism that you felt was necessary. Juhoon had only learned a few things about you, you're around his age, you love hair, and you loved makeup. Most of those things literally circulated around your job.

After a minute or two, he finally pulls back and whispers, "I was being serious, though, I really want you to dye my hair red."
You laugh, glancing down at your own red strands that take a ton of upkeep to maintain a single color. You look back up at him and smile.
"I think it'll look great on you, but let's pass that through management first, yeah?"
"Ugh, don't mention them right now." He replies, pulling you into a tight embrace.
You think about the harsh times you'll face in this... whatever-ship. But this moment, in the small closet, it was enough. For now, it was something you were certain you would keep a secret, no matter how hard it was.

Martin's in the recording booth, his head bopping up and down to the melody playing. You two had just composed a new beat together and wanted to use it as a sample for their new comeback.
The beat played quietly through the headphones that sat atop of his head. He looks over towards you, a small smirk present on his face. You look to him, eyes rolling once you see the smirk. That look always means something, usually it's one of mischief.
"Come in here." He speaks into the microphone hanging in front of him.
"Why?" You throw back, pressing on the red button that allows him to hear you through the noise cancellation in the booth.
"'Cause, I need your help." He whispers, voice dropping the smallest bit to something more deep.
Your cheeks flush the smallest bit before you push yourself off the rolling chair and step towards the booth. You open the door and walk to Martin. He immediately wraps an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his chest.
See, the thing is, no one knew about Martin and you. Being the co-producer for CORTIS, you knew to keep a professional attitude. Though, Martin had found a way to slide through those barriers. With reluctance, you melted into his grasp and rested your head down on him.
Martin slides the headphones off his head and down onto his neck instead, this way he could hear you better.
"You look so pretty today," He whispers and you slap his arm, telling him to shut up.
"You're so annoying, the boys will be coming in here in literally ten minutes." You grumble.
Martin laughs at that and reaches to your chin, tilting your head up so his eyes can meet yours properly. His eyes drift down to your lips and his face sobers.
"No, Martin, not now." You scold him as his gaze comes back up to your eyes.

It first started when Seonghyeon and you became older. You two had grown up together, moms becoming friends in college. Seonghyeon was always a polite person, but his usually reserved attitude was different around you.
Seonghyeon found himself able to be authentically himself when he was with you. Louder, more energetic, or sometimes completely silent when he felt like it. For younger him, one thing was certain, he loved being around you.

"Yeah... probably." You speak, narrowing your eyes at her the tiniest bit. She smiles again and hums, nodding her head as she turns to carry her suitcase to her room. You walk to your room, with your own suitcase, already anticipating how good seeing him will feel after a bit apart.
Around half and hour later, you hear the front door open, your dad welcomes someone in. Not to quickly after, your bedroom door opens and in comes Seonghyeon with the brightest smile on his face. His arms open and you practically launch yourself into them.
"Missed you," He mumbles into your neck.
"Missed you too," you smile, pulling back after a long moment, "Help me unpack?"
He nods quickly, then walks over to the opened suitcase that is already halfway unpacked. You both fall into a harmonious rhythm that was established years ago, when you were just little kids.
Everything was so natural, and for some strange reason you felt a little sense of uneasiness in your stomach. It was a bad type, but as if you wanted something, like something between you two was missing. The worst part was that you couldn't place your finger on what it was.
A week or two later, when Seonghyeon had free time, you were at his dorm. You two were together on the couch, close enough it could pass as cuddling. You're leaned into his side while is arm is around your shoulders. The TV plays quietly as you both talk softly over it.
Footsteps sound from hallway, but both of you were oblivious to it, too satisfied in each other's presence. A figure appears from his room and spots us on the couch.
"Oh, you're here?" Martin asks cheerfully as he looks down and the two of you.
You look up at him, smiling and offering a kind wave. You had always gotten along well with Seonghyeon's members. They became a group of friends that had always managed to make you feel comfortable.
"Sean." Martin directs his attention to Seonghyeon, who looks up, "Have you told her?"
Seonghyeon's eyes widen and his face flushes a deep red. Your brows furrow deeply and you look over to Seonghyeon in confusion.
"What's he talking about?" You ask, Martin then smirks at the two of us and exits to the kitchen.
"Nothing, he's just being stupid." Seonghyeon murmurs, face still strawberry colored. You roll your eyes and look away, nodding to his words.
Seonghyeon readjusts his grip on you, pulling you closer to him. His nose is touching your hair and he secretly breathes in the scent of your shampoo. The moment becomes comforting as you relax into his touch. For a second, you swear you feel him press a kiss to your head.
A few weeks later, you're back at the dorms. This time, Sbeonghyeon isn't with you at the current minute. You're sitting in the kitchen with Keonho and Juhoon while Seonghyeon uses the bathroom. He had left his phone on the counter.
"Hey," Keonho says, looking directly at you, "How do you feel about Seonghyeon?"
Your face twists into one of confusion, "What do you mean? He's been my best friend for years."
Juhoon speaks up, "You guys are so insufferable to watch. You both clearly have something going on."
"Sorry, what?" You say, surprise floating in your tone.
"Normal friends don't act like that. C'mon, do you ever feel the need to cuddle up with us?" Keonho urges for an answer.
You look up at Keonho, open your mouth, close it, then open it again. You shake your head, face twisting into a mock disgust.
"I... No, I don't want to cuddle up with you guys! But, that's just because..." You trail off, not able to finish your answer.
Just as you open your mouth again, Seonghyeon walks into the room. His face lights back up again as he sees you. He heads straight towards you, standing behind the chair that you are sitting in.
"What did I miss?" Seonghyeon almost chirps as you sit in the chair, cheeks blushing a light pink.
"Nothing really." Juhoon chimes into the coversation.
Seonghyeon nods and then changes his direction of conversation towards you. He looks down at you softly, in a way he's never looked at anyone else, but the same way he's always looked at you.
"James told me there's a new ice cream parlor near the Han River, wanna go tonight?" Seonghyeon asks.
You look up and nod, eyes soft, "Yeah, that'd be nice."
Keonho groans and walks out of the kitchen, "So oblivious!"
Seonghyeon and you walk along the path, one of your hands intertwined with his, the other holding a mint-chip ice cream. Seonghyeon, of course made fun of you for choosing the flavor, as it is his least favorite.
"That flavor sucks ass," Seonghyeon laughs.
"Hey! Not too much on it, it's good to me" You giggle back at him.
He lets go of your hand once you two find a bench to sit on. Instead, he wraps his arm around your shoulders as he continues to lick his vanilla ice cream, you lean into him.
Seonghyeon clears his throat once you both finish your ice creams, "Ahem... Can I talk to you real quick?"
"Mhm, anything." You hum, looking over to meet his eyes.
When you two make eye contact, something about the way he's looking at you is different. Or maybe it's the same, but you're finally noticing what it means. Your lips part as his open to speak up again.
"I've been feeling a certain way..." He starts, "Not for weeks, or months, I think years."
You nod, "Yeah."
He continues, "I- uhm, I really like you..."
Your eyes widen and you look at him, switching between his left and right eyes.
"Seonghyeon, I like you too." You say, so soft it could be a whisper.
His hand reaches up and his gaze drops to your lips, "Can I...?"
You nod and he leans down, pressing his lips to yours. His lips are plush, soft, and warm as they move against yours slowly. He finds himself pulling back reluctantly after a long moment of being engulfed in each other's presence.
"Can I be your boyfriend, please?" He asks, his voice almost pleading.
Your smile breaks out, contagious, and you throw your arms around his shoulders in a giant hug, "Yes!"
He laughs into your shoulder, both of you so happy your hearts could burst.
You two walk through the dorm entrance beaming with joy and laughing together, still holding hands. Actually, ever since he'd asked, Seonghyeon could not let go of you.
"I take it went well?" James' voice sounds from the living room. Your brows crease together as you glance at Seonghyeon, who nods.
"So well." He mumbles before smiling at you. He guides you to hang out in his room for a while before your mom came to get you. You throw questions his way about how James knew, who else knew, and even how he planned it out.
As you question him endlessly, Seonghyeon really sits on the fact that he'd rather be in no other place than this.

Anyone who knows you knew you're independent, and you pride yourself in that fact.
Though, things changed immediately when a boy with fluffy brown hair, soft eyes, and the most infectious smile came into your life.
Keonho was an angel sent from heaven, or that's just what you called him to anyone who asked.
He was new to your school, it was first rumored that a new student was going to be attending. The second he walked through the front doors, many eyes followed him.
To your surprise, he was seated right next to you in chemistry class. Hitting it off immediately, you learned he was foreign. Actually, he was from South Korea and knew one of the boys from your grade, Martin.
Martin was the guy everyone knew, he was funny, kind, and extroverted towards everyone. Keonho had shared that they were family friends, and his mom wanted to move to be closer to them, or something.
There's a knock on your door and you groan, "Mom, seriously, I'm fine!"
You had unfortunately contracted some sort of flu or cold. This meant your parents dotting over you for the entire day, barely giving you enough time to take a proper nap.
Everything hurt, every single bone ached, your head was pounding so hard you couldn't even bear to look at a screen.
"Not mom," A very familiar voice travels through the wooden door, "Can I come in?"
Your eyes fly open, then your eyes glance towards the alarm clock on your bedside table. The time reads 3:15, meaning school had been released. You look towards the door again and speak, voice hoarse, "Keonho? Yeah, come in."
You hear an affirmative hum from through the door before the handle tilts and the door slowly parts. In comes a tall boy with pure concern written all over his face. His mouth opens, then closes, then opens again, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Huh?" You question, looking up at him from your spot. You start to push yourself up, head still throbbing and stomach churning. Keonho immediately rushes and pushes you back down gently.
"You don't need to sit up," he assures, "I meant that you didn't tell me you were sick. I was worried."
The realization dawns on you, you had been having such an awful headache that you didn't even think to text anyone on your phone to tell them you were sick.
"I'm sorry, I have such a bad headache, I haven't been on my phone" You apologize, face softening.
Keonho's eyes soften too, he frowns and sits down on your bed. His hand hovers above your forehead, waiting for a sign that it's okay to touch you. The small nod you provide leads him to press down lightly.
His eyes widen, "You're burning up bad."
"It's just a low fever, I'll be fine" You look to the left, not able to lie while looking into his eyes. Keonho shakes his head and scoffs.
"Let me take care of you, yeah?" He hums, giving the smallest smile. You look up at him once and then fold, nodding, then wincing because the motion made the room spin. He cups your cheek, presses a kiss to your forehead and then stands up.
"I'm gonna get some soup, okay?" He says before walking to the door and exiting quietly, trying not to disturb the headache more.
Your eyes flutter shut again, and what could very well be half an hour feels like only a minute due to the sheer exhaustion. Soon enough, the door creaks open and the lights from the hallway bleed into the dark bedroom. You groan and throw an arm overtop of your eyes.
Keonho chuckles softly, "I know, I'm sorry." He shuts the door quickly before coming over and setting the warm bowl of chicken-noodle soup on the nightstand. He sets down a water next to it as well.
"Can you sit up for me?" He whispers, already starting to adjust the pillows behind you so that there's still something plush against your back.
You nod, letting him graciously help your aching body to rest against the headrest of the bed. He kisses your cheek before setting the soup bowl in your lap.
Your eyes follow his movements, and you think about how you really should care about his wellbeing too. You know you should tell him to back up, that he'll get sick as well. So, you do—or at least try to.
"Keonho, I don't want you getting sick"
He meets your eyes after adjusting the blankets, "I don't care about me right now," he mumbles. That shuts you up quickly after he gives you a look that says, 'No further comments needed.'
After finishing the soup, you revel in the feeling of being taken care of. You also finally give into the little voice in the back of your mind that as been screaming for you to cuddle up with him. Your cold hands pull him down to the bed again where he settles himself under the covers with you.
"I'm sorry," You whisper as he adjusts your positions, pulling you gently so that your head was on his chest and his hand was rubbing gentle circles on your back.
"Don't be, I'm happy to do this." He mumbles into your hair before pressing a kiss to your head.
You lay, in the comfortable space of your room, head resting on Keonhos chest, wondering how your life came to this. Before him, you could barely accept a lick of help, now you were secretly craving it at any minor inconvenience.
The worst part—or maybe the best—was that Keonho was always ready to fulfill those needs.
