the fact that none of the night at the museum movies were rated over 50% by critics is a reminder that some ppl don’t know how to have fun. the first two movies were flawless. a night watch guard has to babysit museum displays that come to life, complete w old school villains and endless historical crossovers? incredible concept, incredible execution

the main cast is a night guard, an egyptian pharoah, sacagewea, teddy roosevelt, genghis khan, a miniature cowboy and roman ruler duo, a capuchin monkey, and a moai rock for godsake!!!!!!!!

in the second movie there was a scene where al capone ivan the terrible napoleon an egyptian and darth vader and oscar the grouch interact. ben stiller walks into a painting. the abraham lincoln memorial comes to life. the lil roman rides a squirrel into battle. the thinker is a fuck boy. like holy shit holy SHIT!!

hello! i see that you reblogged several script resources for natm 2 — do you know where the original script for natm 3 can be read? it’s referenced in the wiki with no citations, and i’m desperate to read for myself if the original script really had ahkmenrah being stabbed 73 or so times.

sorry beyond googling, which i’m sure you’ve done yourself, i’ve no clue :( 

although i could have sworn the part about kahmunrah killing ahkmenrah was in natm 2′s original script, not natm 3. but i’m unsure and i’ve got a shitty-ass memory ldkjdfg (also looks like the links to the natm 2 scripts are broken now, so who knows)

honestly, i guess it’s possible that it’s just fanon, but it’s so widespread it might as well be canon even if that’s so? like it’s been a thing for as long as i remember, and it’s damn good angst, so why not, right?
