The more I think about it, the more it makes sense as to why Hades would be a decent guy compared to the rest of the gods. He is, after all, the god of the underworld.

Can you imagine how much shit he sees on a daily basis? He would figure out pretty quick that murder is bad, rape is bad, adultery is bad…etc.

Now it also makes a lot more sense as to why he treats Persephone so differently compared to how the rest of the gods treat their wives. He’s seen how husbands treat their wives on earth. He wants more for her and he knows she’s worth more than that. He respects her, he gives her power, he actually loves on her…

I could go on forever.
