In my headcannon, mobians dont wear wedding rings as it is hard with the gloves they all wear so instead they have an "ear piercing ceremony" where both people who are getting married get trained on how to pierce an ear so that they can do it for one another to symbolise their marriage and commitment to one another. Its also an act of trust to allow one to litterally stab your ear lol. Its more visible than a wedding ring and is permanent, humans have more of a habit of cheating or breaking up than mobians so they have less worry about a permanent love symbol as most mate for life once wed :)

Ok so I read this Sonadow fic on ao3 a while back, it was unfinished when I read it but I'm pretty sure new chapters are posted, Sonic is an unhinged vigilante who was raised by eggman, and shadow, rouge, blaze, tangle and whisper are G.U.N agents. Blaze is the commanders daughter. sonic lost his family in an earthquake? (tornado?) I don't remember. Then sonic finally get caught, silver is there too. Silver and Espio are dating. Sonic had a bad break up with Scourge. There are a bunch of chaos emeralds. If anyone knows the name of this fic PLS help me.
