HOW WOULD KLANCE BECOME CANON AFTER SEASON 8
(spoilers ahead of course)
after allura dies, lance is heart broken
like, really bad
he doesn’t want to eat, he doesn’t want to go out
his family calls the paladins so they can help him
but no one really knows what to say
in one moment, lance and keith are alone
and keith tells him “look lance, i know how you feel, really, after my dad died… i didn’t really wanted to do anything, but i knew that he wouldn’t want me to feel like this, so i did what i thought he would want me to do”
and this actually helps lance
he started going to altea to help the alteans rebuilt, and get comfortable, etc
and like this he got so much better!
he started planting altean flowers in earth and helping his family with their farm
but every time he looked at himself at the mirrow and saw his altean marks, he just got sad
one day keith notice, and ask lance to tell him about how he felt
and can you imagine??? emo keith asking lover boy lance about opening up and talk about fellings??
lance just started laughing
it was the first time in a while that he smiled like that
it made keith really happy
and they just started talking, first about allura, then about the future, now that voltron is not needed, and they had their second bonding moment
even if they kinda took different ways, they always tried to hang with each other
but THE MOMENT was when shiro got engaged
keith ask lance to help him with the outfit (he is the best man, of course) and they are just going around the mall when lance says “i would love to get marry one day” and keith smiles and says “i’m sure you will one day”
but lance is like yeah sure with who
keith: “lance, you are an incredible person, there are a lot of people in the galaxy who would be really lucky to meet you”
and lance just can’t breath
give him a sec ok
why does he feel like this?? it’s just keith
but ok ok everything is fine
and the the wedding day comes
and oh my
lance becomes an emotional mess
on one side he is sad because he can’t help thinking about the life he could have had with allura
and shiro notice this and goes to talk to him like the space dad he is
he asks him how he is and lance is all “i’m great! what about you? beautiful day for a wedding i’m so happy for you”
shiro smiles and says “when adam died, i thought that there was no love for me in the world. with the war and all, i never could mourn him, i thought that was it for the love life! but it wasn’t. i just wanted to tell you to not give up on love, that’s what allura would have wanted”
lance knows he is right, but he just can imagine who he could be with
the dance beggings and everyone rushes to the dance floor
lance wasn’t in the mood for dancing
keith walk to where he was and told him “hey, wanna dance? someone said that the best dancer gets a special gift, and you are a good dancer”
suddenly lance wants to dance
lance: “i haven’t practice in a while, but i’m sure it will be enough to win, let’s do it!”
he sounds so exited
keith is so happy
lance thinks that maybe, there was one person he could be with
they dance all night, and later lance would find out that there was no special gift
it was a lie that keith never regret telling
they started dating a few months after that
lance went to allura’s grave to tell her
he felt that she was happy for him
and she was
