PARCO Department Store Venom Cafe Offerings
Location: Select PARCO locations, Japan
To promote the first of Sony’s Venom movies, Japan department store chain PARCO created a set of pop-up cafes in their stores featuring a variety of special Venom-themed menu items. Some of these items would only appear at certain locations.
the Venom Black Burger, a hamburger with ketchup, purple cabbage, mozzarella cheese, and a long bacon tongue between black buns,
The Venowaffle, a chocolate waffle sandwich with whipped cream “teeth”, vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and blueberries,
The Berry Dark Smoothie, a chocolate smoothie with strawberry sauce topped with whipped cream and cocoa powder stenciled to look like Venom’s face,
the Devil’s Whisper Drink, a chocolate tapioca milk drink topped with boba pearls and berries,
the Addictive Curry Doria Plate, a baked yin-yang looking dish with brown and black millet balls that was half keema cheese doria and half black curry with red paprika, along with a side of coffee jelly and coffee… coffee,
and The Most Brutal Venom Bacon Burger, another black-bunned burger with red onions and a bacon tongue.
Orders came with one of two possible Venom sticker designs, and the motorcycle actually ridden by Tom Hardy in the film also made an appearance in one of the PARCO stores.
