UPDATE:                                                                                                   So I posted this about a year and a half ago, and in that time I’ve gained a lot more really good friends, and one of the original 3 came out as bi, the second pan, so it was just the third that was homophobic. (To that person: fuck you) Also, about 6 months ago, one of the others came out as transmasc, and another as a lesbian. 

I’d just like to say don’t hide your sexuality or gender from your friends, because chances are, if they’re friends with you, the majority of yall are queer

We should totally have words for sexual orientation that aren’t ‘liking the same gender, opposite gender, or all genders’. They should be something that would just be ‘liking women, men, genderqueer, or all genders’, because genderqueer people are all presumed to be bi/pan (at least in my experience), and have to explain to people that ‘no, i’m only attracted to guys/girls’. They would be just like the words for sexualities now, but more convenient for  my genderqueer peeps.
