Werewolves are often described as these beings who keep to themselves. They either wear alot of leather, have elaborate tattoos or claw-marks, or theyâre like this rugged woodsy person? Which is obviously not a bad thing!
I enjoy seeing archetypes because not only are they popular, they work really well! But Iâd also like to see different aesthetics & stories explored for my favorite mythical creature. I feel vampires get more attention sometimes? Mostly because they look the most human in certain adaptations. But anyways, listed below are some of my prompts on a good werewolf story!

Using her nocturnality to stay up late and sneak out with her friends. Until she ends up meeting a cute boy at a summer barbecue. Unknown to her, the boy she met is secretly a monster hunter.

Every single person there doesnât bat an eye when he enters. For all they know, heâs one of them. When a waitress comes up to the man, he sees white fangs poking through the corners of her lips.

{ Hi everyone! Iâm sorry itâs been awhile! Iâve just been focusing on other projects lately. }
Shark merfolk living in the outskirts of their main homelands compared to other merfolk. But not that theyâre mean; they act more as guardians or protectors when big threats come around. Although their lifestyle is severely tougher than most, they sometimes tend to stick to themselves.Â
Jellyfish merfolk living both in the deep sea and near the coastlines. Moon jellyfish mers lighting up the waters at night as they travel in little blooms together. Floating aimlessly through the seaâs currents.
Little coconut octopi searching the seafloor for things to hide in. Maybe sheâs very skittish or shy, or doesnât interact much with others. Maybe she becomes friends with a dumbo octopus who was passing by!
A goldfish mermaid who lives in a large forest lake. Thereâs lots of lilypads with small creatures for her to talk to, such as frogs or little ducks. They hide among duckweed clusters when humans come by.
Sirens are actually teeny tiny little beings with hair that resembles jellyfish and sea slugs. The reason people mistake sirens for scary creatures is because their voices are just incredible loud.

Hello there! Soâ I know almost nothing about Wings of Fire but I know itâs a really cool series to get into. What Iâve been told is that itâs almost like Warrior Cats but with dragons? Iâm assuming at least lol. What I know about it is mostly from cool fanart & OC content from the internet.
But Iâm really conflicted on which side of the series to start with. Iâm so indecisive on this, itâs like really badâ
I feel I should start with the books because the covers themselves just seem so dang cool!!
I can always buy the set one at a time if I need to, but as a writer Iâm sure these books are cool as heck!! Ancient dragon clans with mystic powers sounds sooooo amazing!!
Plus Iâm sure these books descriptive segments sound really good. Iâd love to see all the worldbuilding & homesites too. Maybe even draw some of these on my own!
Buuuuut the visuals for the dragons do look cool in the graphics novels!! Plus Iâd like to see the visual differences between each dragon clan as well as all the color palettes!
Plus the whole reason I found out about the series is because of the graphic novels! And iâd like to try my hand at making an OC for this too, it just all feels so awesome to look at!

â„ Hi everyone! So these are just some prompts I've written on my own, but I did modify this for the post. I might wanna add more onto this too, but I hope you guys enjoy. Thank you!
Once the ingredients meet, the liquid will turn a bright pink color. You must act fast once this happens; the bottle must be struck by fresh lightning in order to mix well. The completed potion will feature a golden gradient once completed.
One sip of this bubbling drink will grant the user an extreme energy boost; one so great the user is capable of sprinting across an entire town in less than 10 seconds!
â ïž WARNING â ïž : Please drink with caution. If the bottle is consumed in all at once, rabbit-like features will grow. The user must be prepared for an overload of cuteness. These features are temporary and will only last a week.
Once the potion is mixed, it will turn an autumn orange color. If there are any signs of red the potion, there is no need for worry. It will still be functional; there is likely too much amber in the mix. Which will give it a somewhat spicy scent.
This potion is not to be consumed; the user must take only two or more drops of the liquid into the eyes. This grants the ability to detect trails of magic, whether from a spell or from a being/person. They often appear as wisps or smoke trails.
Once completed, the liquid turns a frigid blue. But it is advised to open with caution; as this potion mimics winter's icy cold touch. Although, there have been consumers that claim it gives off a peppermint-like scent.
This potion is not made for consumption: is it preferred to be used as a support item. When splashed on the ground, the liquid morphs into into thick rolls of fog. If the user or their party makes physical contact, invisibility will activate. Even the use of magic cannot break it when one is engulfed in the fog.
Unlike many draconic species that walk the landâ those who rely on rough scales or hide for protection, aquatic dragons have slippery or rubbery skin. This thin, slime-covered coat is used for gliding through currents of salt or freshwater with ease; reducing nearly any form of drag.
Camouflage is typically in the form of faint spots or stripes in order to blend with any underwater background. Though all species of dragon have a distinctive color palette, for every individual of their species, this cannot be said about the dragons of the North. Who all have much paler coloring, equivalent to a shining pearl.
However, aquatic dragons that lack such features remain proficient; since they have the ability to merge (or for a better wordâ melt) into water. Rendering themselves completely invisible.

Dragons that reside in open oceans, lagoons, or even coral reefs are mostly omnivorous except for those that live in northern waters. Fish do take up a majority of their diet, but snacking on the blades of kelp or seaweed is just as delicious.
Sea dragons will often remain hidden from aquatic species not of their own pod, which also includes other dragons. While this behavior can be typical among these wild creatures as a whole, there have been reported sightings of interaction between more than one dragon species.
Yet, the acceptation of this behavior are coral reef dragons. Not only are they considered the most sociable of all dragons ever documented, reef dragons have been recorded to be friendly in the presence of humans. The reason for this is unknown, yet inspiring. Their friendliness likely stems from a reef's role in maintaining saltwater ecosystems; where many creatures choose to gather.
âïž { Polar Dragons }
Far north in more chilling parts of the world, are the most elusive of the aquatic dragons. Northern sea dragons: commonly known as polar dragons, are the only known species capable of residing in such icy waters.
Information on these creatures has only ever been recorded through word of mouth, until the recent decade: researchers in more rural areas have reported numerous sightings of pale sea-dwelling dragons with the ability to walk on land.
That is not to say they have miraculously grown scaly limbs and clawsâ polar dragons use their flippers to crawl across the snow if there is enough traction. They do not stay on land for long; only using this technique as a way to catch stray food.
Polar dragons are somewhat disliked by humans in these parts, due to their supposed habit of stealing fish. While dragons are not known for purposefully interacting with humans, polar dragons are viewed as pests by their human neighbors.
đąđž [ Freshwater Dragons ]
Freshwater dragons are not all native to their habitatsâ at least most species aren't. When dragons were first discovered in the late 14th-15th century, humans bonded with the aquatic beasts in order to ensure safe passage on the sea. As time went on, sea dragons were bribed or even bred for fishing purposes, or guarding cargo ships.
The operation expanded; yet any dragons that escaped or slipped through their corrals found their way into freshwater rivers and adapted. Hence why freshwater dragons are so much smaller, and hold their breath for shorter periods of time.
They are one of the few dragonic species that can be purely herbivorous, although this is a rare trait. The stems and stalks of aquatic plants are a preferred meal, but many freshwater dragons enjoy digging through mud and sand to find crustaceans.
Dragons that reside in swampy areas or forests are capable of more unique hunting activities: shooting thin streams of water from their mouths like a water gun in order to catch insects. This method requires nearly complete stillness; which is why you wonât see them coming if they choose to make you a target.

You live in a farm out in the middle of nowhere, growing all sorts of flowers, fruits, vegetable crops in your yard. As you head out one morning to start your chores, you catch your cute little strawhat scarecrow that you just made smiling and waving at you.
A fairy is looking for a new home after her old one was found out by a pair of humans. Having looked high and low for the perfect place to settle down, she almost starts to feel disheartened. Until she comes across the biggest pumpkin sheâs ever seen! One already cleaned out and decorated, it even had a little lantern inside!
A sweet smelling candle is given to you for your birthday, but it is secretly a magic candle. If you make a wish upon it, it shall keep said wish safe until it comes true. Even if youâve forgotten about it, the flame will continue to burn until it happens. However, this candle can only be used once every year.
Youâre a rookie wizard trying to find a special ingredient to make your brand new potion work. So you decide to stop into the town market to find anything interesting, until you find a gorgeous orange bottle with swirling amber inside. Itâs absolutely beautiful. But before you can ask the stall owner, another wizard reaches for the bottle and you both grab it at the same time.
A werewolf is best buddies with a human but is reluctant to tell their friend the truth. Until one night, by sheer accident, they accidentally bite the human (not hard though itâs okay) under the moonlight. Those creatures are bonded to their hearts, reflecting the inner self by what type of animal is at their side. However, sometimes people canât fully understand their partners until they are older, as they have yet to discover their true selves or what they desire in life.
A man and a woman from two different kingdoms both attend a royal ball together, in hopes of finding a suitable partner. They both manage to get away from the scene and they end up meeting in a hidden space. Once they reveal themselves, it turns out one of them is a tiny person.

A person has a special watercolor tattoo on their arm that resembles a flower. The flowers start as buds & grow as time goes on, but there can be a pair with the same flower as others! Because once you meet your soulmate, the flowers bloom into your soulmates favorite flower!
Everyone is gifted a special animal companion when they become of age, who will lead you to your soulmate when the time comes. To make it easier, each person is given a special charm with their partnerâs animal friend on it. Think of it like a spirit animal!
Each person is born with a constellation on their body & their soulmate has the same one. The stars in the constellation glow when youâve met them.
Similar to the âfirst words promptâ except the words look a bit scribbly & are hard to read. When soulmates meet, their words straighten out & turn a pretty gold color.
A tattoo of the place youâll meet your soulmate: when you two meet the tattoo disappears. However, there arenât any words or texts that say what or where the place is. Sometimes it can even be someplace simple, like a park or a library!
Different animals or insects can symbolize love: every person has a tattoo of one of these specific creatures. Who will appear right before meeting your soulmate. Once you meet them, the mark disappears.
A person is born with a special mark on their body, in the shape of a heart, which changes color depending on their soulmates mood! The heart becomes white once soulmates meet!

Former! Villain x Superhero
Not even a real villain, just some dumb person who steals things or who makes evil schemes that always fail. Kind of like Dr. Doofenshmirtz, & theyâre actually really nice in real life! But when a superhero comes to stop them, they instantly fall in love! Seriously has heart eyes & doesn't pay any attention to the heroâs grand pre-fight speech.
Or doesnât put up a fight at all, just hands them the stolen goods & escapes. Leaving Hero completely confused as the Villain they were supposed to stop didnât even bother fighting, which is still good but theyâre still confused.
After this, the Villain now decides to become a Superhero!! To not only impress their new crush but also because they've always really wanted to be one anyways! It was just the push they needed.
Cue them now running the streets in a completely different outfit trying their best to stop the bad guys! Usually, it doesnât end well though: theyâll trip over the air & let them escape, or maybe just show up late to the fight & itâs already over.
Itâs even worse when their Hero crush joins the fray, and then theyâre really clumsy or just start sputtering like an old car. Their former henchmen, now turned sidekicks, try to console them as they lay on the couch completely embarrassed by their feats.
Oooooor, they are super confident & much better at being a superhero than they ever were being a Villain. Maybe this confidence goes to their head a bit & will literally try flirting with Hero on the battlefield! Hero gets a bit embarrassed sometimes & their other super-friends tease them about it. If this does happen, Hero might end up trying to run away from the former Villain in an effort to focus on their job. But it just ends up being really funny to watch.
Bonus: They have opposite powers or maybe one has no powers at all.
Dashing Thief x Friendly! Detective
I'm sorry this one is a bit short!
A notorious thief with a heart of gold who only ever steals from bad guys & acts more as a Robin Hood character than any. Hardly ever keeps anything for themselves; just struts around after dark on the lookout for anything suspicious. Not one person has been able to catch them & their identity remains a mystery. Would be cool if they were a nobleman/woman or had some kind of big fancy hideout.Â
The detective is actually their friend/partner (maybe)! The good egg who actually sees the thiefâs true intentions instead of just mucking around in a Halloween costume. Although they're pretty ticked at the way Thief does things, they usually keep their coworkers & the boss off Thief's trail. Maybe a newbie or an intern at the detective agency, determined to prove themselves on the field.Â
Maybe they met as civilians & the thief switched to a disguise to hide from authorities, but bumped into the detective who was out on a coffee break. It was love at first sight for both of them, so cute! đ They do a lot of coffee dates now, but sometimes Detective overdoes it.....
One is the brains, and the other is the brawn. Together they can get any job done! The Detectiveâs coworkers find it strange how the Thief shows up more often when they're specifically on the job. The Boss is suspicious but sometimes finds them cute.
Often swing by each otherâs places to not only hangout but help each other with cases or special kinds of info. If the Thief has any sidekicks, no doubt theyâll spill funny stories of missions gone wrong or close calls.Â
Stealing each other's hats and impersonating the other one for fun, then cue a playful chase scene around the room! So cute!
Dragon x Wizard
I know some people like fantasy stuff!
A dragon is resting in their cave until they hears footsteps at the entrance. But instead of finding a grumpy old knight, they find a wizard! Maybe the Wizard was exploring the caves nearby or on a journey to the next town, but instead of feeling scared or angry, they started fangirling/fanboying over the dragon instead! đ
Likes to ask them all sorts of questions & sometimes canât stop talking. Now Wizard can come whenever they like & the two become friends!
The Wizard visits whenever they can, showing off all sorts of new spells or potions they've created. Even though it might not be as impressive as their fire, the Dragon still finds it cool & applauds.
The Dragon will always try to impress their wizard friend with tall tales of each piece of treasure. How they got it, where they found it, if they fought anyone over it, etc. But sometimes those stories are exaggeratedâŠ
The Wizard will be in absolute awe at the Dragonâs stories & canât help but be a complete chatterbox about it. Asking more questions about different things like how their magic works, how they can fly with all that extra weight, or if they can learn a fire-breathing spell from them insteadâ
If the Wizard lives in a tower then the Dragon will visit just as frequently! Usually itâs in the early morning or during sundown when there are fewer people around. But if the Wizard lives in a town or city, it might take some time for the Dragon to come around. Itâs not that they donât care, but dragons are more solitary creatures. Either way, they enjoy each other's company & the dragon likes to ask questions about different thingamabobs on the Wizard's shelves.
They can both be pretty clingy but thatâs sometimes a bit tough to handle because the poor wizard has to be extra careful, especially with pouring bottles or waving their wand around if theyâre not even two feet apart. Doesnât mind but sometimes will complain a bit if their partner wonât stay cooperate.
Extra Duo!
Since I loved the superhero one a lot I thought of another one: what if a Heroâs Sidekick & a Villainâs Henchman fall in love!
The Henchman does end up giving Sidekick any tips about their next plan. Cue the Villain throwing a tantrum in their lair wondering why the Hero is always one step ahead of them. đ
They like to hangout in civilian settings together! Bonus if they found out their secret identities on accident lol
Extra Bonus if the Henchman or both villains become heroes at the end!
