I took one of my new favorite cassowary pictures yesterday
California gull had a fresh-caught fish and was eating it a bite at a time, then it spotted a crow approaching and swallowed the fish whole, presumably to prevent the crow from stealing it. The crow seemed disappointed

Invasive species versus a second, stronger invasive species
Australia did this at one point, intentionally releasing cats into the bush in an attempt to control the invasive rabbit population. Now we have invasive feral cats as well as invasive rabbits👌
A third, even stronger invasive species will surely do the trick

Also known as red tajinaste, it's endemic to the Canary Islands, and found mainly around Mount Teide in Tenerife.
They are apparently quite large.
