Decided to work on last night's illustration a bit more. I don't usually get done with lineart quickly enough (read: before I think it's overworked already) to color/paint it.

Panima's skin is a bit darker than it usually looks in this one just because this is the more realistic tone. She's darker than the other characters that have appeared so far.

Note to self:

Post a reference for Pan's actual eyes at some point. The photo references all have the wrong color arrangement (brown inside, green outside)

I don't think (read: I won't) have time to finish this today, but I've been working on it and wanted to share. 

Panima's hardly ever smiling, and I don't think I've ever drawn her smiling genuinely. I usually put Tilamere in cutesy couples pictures, but I thought, FUCK DA POLICE, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY, PAN GETS A HAPPY LOVEY-DOVEY MOMENT. Tamino seems surprised, but pleased.

Some development sketches for the Satekae. Their form is changing a bit from the one in the "published" pages, but is closer to the original one. Some sketches received more attention than others--hopefully it's obvious which ones those are.

A quick sketch of our Panima and Tilamere, not at all done during class. It might be obvious between this and this that I'm addicted to a certain angle of the head.

There are so many problems with Tilamere here.
