No, i’m not joking Karen.
Do not disturb the cat.
Jeff Bezos and Amazon are a fucking blight upon the working class. He got rich by treating rank and file employees like hot garbage toiling under dehumanizing, backbreaking conditions for shitty pay. When there are this many random strangers across various sectors/departments of a single company sharing similar horror stories, that can’t be dismissed as just a few disgruntled ex-employees. Grievances like these are why I quit using Amazon. They made my life easier at the expense of thousands of hardworking people being mistreated and disrespected behind closed doors. (thread)
The craziest thing about all this to me is there are still people who will say that he’s worked hard for his money and so we should be happy that he’s going to be the first trillionaire. If you are one of these people... fuck you.
Amazon racked up an extra 30 billion during this pandemic and js nkw cancelling the $2 hazard lay...
I worked at Amazon for just over 3 years. My depression was so severe throughout the last year there that I was struggling to stay in touch with reality. Everything from the waist down would be in immense pain after my shifts. And with my over night shift (10hrs per shift, 4 nights in a row) I would go home at the end of my week barely able to walk. Even when I was doing computer work, they wouldn’t provide chairs so I would have to stand in mostly one area for most of my shift. I still have problems with my knees, feet, lower back, and ankles because of this. And when I did physical labor, mostly moving boxes/bins, I would go home with major back pain.
My shift severely hindered my ability to socialize let alone take care of myself and my surroundings. It took me 2 1/2 years to get on dayshift, and that still didn’t help. I have never felt so much relief as I did when I got terminated. (my time got messed up which resulted in me running out of UPT)
I regret spending so much time working for them. I should have left sooner. I will say that I got lucky and worked at one of the crossdock locations (our building received product from manufacturers and independent sellers, then sorted product and sent them to other locations), which was a bit more lax.
Still, Amazon pushes their employees past their limits and punishes anyone who can’t keep up. So fuck Amazon and Jeff Bezos.
i don’t know if dollblr has found out about this yet but LOL Surprise made a doll that looks exactly like artist Amina Mucciolo without paying or consulting her.
x
it’s also worth noting that back in october Amina was evicted from her apartment after Lisa Frank & Hotels(.)com stole her home design for a pop-up hotel and still to this day neither of them have issued an apology or compensated her for this
Is their anyway I can support her?
Linktree. Make your link do more.
this is her linktree!
hey so someone in the replies went “there’s people that are dying,” and of course this was never meant to take away from that. but if we truly believe that black lives matter, we should make sure black lives are valued and respected at all times. that includes giving credit where credit is due, and paying people for their work. black women and black gay men are often the blueprint but are always overlooked.
fun-ta-mental is right, let’s support black women while we can. the link above includes ways to help not only amina, but the blm movement and other petitions as well.
The DEA has been authorized to search information and do surveillance on protesters, so people been around sharing info to encrypt your devices
And as such someone shared this list of devices which are safe for communication between protesters
Hey, you guys! I found a twitter thread with the same images as above and there’s a buttload of information there! Be sure to read up on the thread as well. Here’s a few pieces of information to keep in mind
again, here’s the link to the twitter thread. Thanks and keep yourselves safe!

#LGBTQ
I don’t think it’s proper. You can’t spread equality with a closed fist.
You sound mad fucking stupid man shut the hell up
I think this creates a separation in the LGTB community. Why not just have one flag for everyone?
There are literal hundreds of LGBT flag variations to upfift said Race/Religion/Country
Even ones for the specific areas in the LGBT community
How the fuck is this any different? Why is it everytime black people come up with something for themselves y'all have to come out with this show your entire asses with this “"segregation” shit.
Suck on my entire dick
Also, if you’re in this thread and have never made nor reblogged a post about the way POC, especially Black people are treated in the LGBTQ community then motherfuck you. We wouldn’t feel the need to remind you that we’re here, if you didn’t treat us like we weren’t.

VISIBILITY IS IMPORTANT. And that’s a great design.
From a graphic design standpoint: That’s actually a really solid flag, symbolism, balance, and color wise. A+ work from a graphic design point of origin. POC who are LGBTQIA are going to be under a lot of fire, since they’re getting the double barreled whammy of hate in the current political climate. Be safe, folks.
Yo, ALSO from a graphic design standpoint: I wouldnt give a single shit if it looked HORRIBLE. Here’s why.
Ive seen like, 3 flags minimum for asexuals. There are also at least 4 variations on the trans flag for specific identities. There are like fucking NINETEEN “official” lesbian flag designs (NOT counting the hundreds produced online in the past year because it literally became a meme how many flags they had.) Do you think anyone gave these people flack about their design skills? No.
Ive seen two (2.) SEMI- recognized flag designs for all LGBT POC before this. Not even just for one identity. Just, purposeful uplifting for all POC. And white gays got their panties in a twist about both of them. And bitched and complained about “exclusivity” every. single. time.
This flag could look like literal garbage and I’d still support it. Its a good and NECESSARY idea. It’s not exlcuding anyone. It’s meant to be more INCLUSIVE than the members of the community that wave the rainbow and act like its a gay-whites-only symbol. We all should accept a flag like this even if it wasn’t a solid design or whatever.
The closed fist is the black lives matter symbol. It is literally a pride flag symbolising LGBTQIA+ black lives matter. If you don’t get that, it’s clearly not your place to comment on whether it looks good or not or if it’s inclusive enough.
Image taken in seattle
[ID: an aerial shot of the seattle protests. in the upper half of the image, an impressive crowd of protestors is packed so densely together that you can’t see the ground they’re standing on. in the lower half of the image stand police in a few thin lines. /end ID]
for this wondering where to cop. I work with my hands and regularly get cuts and scrapes and I love these
they also come in mid tones.
This is nice :)
There’s also a black owned company called Browndages!
They come in a number of different shades as well 🥰
Rebloging for the black owned company
Love this!!!
The Columbus street medics were given donations of tainted water, resulting in antifreeze poisoning. As of yet (june 5, 2020) they have not found the source of the donation, but they do need to replenish their stock of water to treat dehydration and tear gas related injury.
Please consider a donation through cash app or venmo to help them keep the protesters safe.
And while I have your attention, please consider a donation to the columbus freedom fund and pay for someone's bail.
