Introducing new Demise!AU spin-off: The Quilk!AU
Alright so this is very random and will sound ridiculous (not anymore ridiculous than the rest of demise!au though i assure you) so lets get started. for the record, everytihng that is about to be written is a direct fault of the demise duscord server
In the second half of the original demise!au story, Izuku mixes DayQuil and NyQuil together to see what happens and as a result has a manic episode of some sort followed by blacking out and having no memory of what happened, at the time describing it as ‘going through time’. The combo is officially dubbed as ForeverQuil, but is commonly reffered to as just Quil, the most basic quil combo.
The proposed idea by the discord server was: what if the strong reaction to Quil was a result of a quirk?
Now here me out. In the original BNHA we see several quirks that are set off by very specific conditions including CONSUMPTION OF SUBSTANCES such as Momo’s creation, Amajiki’s Manifest etc. And so I propose to you Izuku’s hidden quirk:
QUILVER - a set of reactions/powers triggered by consumption of specific chemical substances with the Quil acting as a catalyst.
It doesnt subvert canon so far, because how could a doctor detect this kind of power? You wouldn’t give a Quil combo to a child. Is it absolutely ridiculous? YES, YES IT IS AND IT GETS BETTER.
The idea is that sometime within the demise!au storyline Izuku’s doctor Shin notices his extreme reactions to the Quil and decides to test it, eventually coming up with the Quirk diagnosis and that’s where it all goes spectacularly to shit.
As mentioned before the Quil is only a base, meaning that if you mix it with other substances you can get different results-

DayQuil (natural form of Quil no effect)
NyQuil (natural form of Quil, no effect)
ForeverQuil: mix of both dayQuil and nyQuil (Changes perception of time and space) THE ORIGINAL QUIL BASE
EternalQuil: The Quil and redbull (Flight)
InfinityQuil: The Quil and 20 shots of pure espresso (Speed)
NeverQuil: The Quil and Vodka (Solumunbust and allows for going through objects like vapour)
RagnaQuil: ForverQuil Eternal Quil and Infinity Quil all in one (transforms into the Jougumander, can bend atoms)
DragonQuil: Fireball whisky and Quil (Fire Breathing)
HauntedQuil: Bloody mary with a shot of Quil (makes him invisible, but leaves behind red residue)
ZuesQuil: Quil with a small electric charge in it (can short circuit any electronic device’s within 100m radius)
WyvernQuil: Quil mixed with Kerosene (Can breath out Liquid Napalm) Warning:DO NOT MIX WITH DRAGONQuil (if you do, you get UltraDragonQuil! Do not try this at home)
GodQuil: mixing protein powder for athletes with Quil (basically all might’s power with no downsides)
MidasQuil: the Quil mixed with the edible gold flakes for baking (the name speaks for itself, touch stuff it becomes gold)
BanditQuil: trash bandit’s wool and Quil (makes izuku into a sheep)
VenomQuil: Cyanide and Quil (Izuku can make poison, similarly to Ashido’s acid)
SickoQuil: Quil Mixed with Sprite Cranberry( Covers him in a mist of sprite cranberry){looks like a blood mist}[Induces uncontrollable fear]
HornyQuil: lube, viagra and Quil (makes people around him horny)
MaidQuil: Bleach and Quil (Makes a big wave that cleans everything out, leaving a clean white space)
CursedQuil: Izuku’s own blood and Quil (gives him access to different dimensions, that’s how he accidentally switches places with canon izuku in the swap!canon verse)
ChronosQuil: Perfect combo of NyQuil and DayQuil and liquid hydrogen (allows to manipulate time)
QuilQuil: ForeverQuil, ChronosQuil, NeverQuil and liquid nitrogen all mixed together (In izuku’s own words: ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME)
JesusQuil: ForeverQuil mixed with holy water (It speaks for itself)
BlankQuil: Quil mixed with Whiteout (Disintegration)
GayQuil: Quil mixed with marshmallows and lucky charms (makes everyone within 100m radium very gay eg: singing queen songs, be bad at driving, barf rainbows. Can also act as healing potion)
VoodooQuil: a person’s blood and hair mixed with quil (allows for manipulation of actions and feelings)
PlusUltraQuil: JUST FUCKING DUMP THEM ALL TOGETHER (ATOMIC SPLITTING) WARNING:ONLY USE AS A LAST RESORT atomic bomb that could make dinosaurs extinct again
Fun fact, Quil is a greek word for juice.
The current proposed name for Izuku with this quirk would be THE DRUGGED UP HERO APOLLO since he’s associated with healing and medicine.
His hero outift is like this old wizard from a fantasy game, with a belt full of quil bottles, his cape is essentially a longer version of his trashy coat from lost and found and he wears one of those hats with cup holders and long straws.
He can achieve pretty much any sort of power with the right combo of unholy substances, so that makes him the Quil Monoma.
I will be updating this list every now and then for some corrections and additional unholy combos that my server can think of.
