The eurovision channel posted Israel's song on yoututbe. DO NOT INTERACT WITH IT AT ALL. I cannot stress this enough. Do not watch it, not even to leave comments in favor of Palestine. Not even to dislike it. The algorithm doesn't work that way. Just report it. Make sure to do the same on any other streaming platform you use. Block the artist. Report her even. But DO NOT engage with the song in any streaming platform. Also don't use the hashtag eurovision.
On this year women's day, all we could think about are Palestinian women in Gaza.
Nearly 9,000 women have been killed in Israeli attacks in five months. Another 2,100 are missing and presumed dead, while 23,000 have been wounded and over half a million are displaced.
“Palestinian women, especially in the Gaza Strip, are exposed to the worst humanitarian catastrophe,” Ashraf al-Qudra, the health ministry’s spokesperson, said on Thursday.
Dozens of women and girls have also been detained and face harsh conditions in Israeli custody, including sexual abuse.
Women in Gaza also struggle to find menstruation products and access the necessary pregnancy and post-natal care. The consequences on reproductive health, including a rise in stress-induced miscarriages, stillbirths and premature births, have increased significantly.
Women in labour are undergoing caesarean procedures without anaesthetics, and a shortage of post-operative care such as medication, antibiotics and pain relief further exacerbates the situation.
According to the health ministry, 5,000 women give birth monthly in Gaza under “harsh, unsafe and unhealthy” conditions caused by Israeli bombing and displacement.
There are 60,000 pregnant women in Gaza suffering from “malnutrition, dehydration and lack of medical care.
There have also been repeated cases of Israeli soldiers mocking Palestinian women by posting videos and pictures of themselves rummaging through personal belongings in Gaza homes, making derogatory comments and posing with women’s underwear.
[ID: A Tweet by Rania (@umyaznemo) reading: Israel has killed 8,900 Palestinian women, wounded over 23,000, and displaced half a million others during the #GazaGenocide. Happy #InternationalWomensDay the #Israel way." Surrounding the tweet is a collage of Israeli soldiers wearing or holding women's lingerie; a negligee laid out over the hood of a tank; and a man holding the 'breasts' of a naked dress form. BISAN IS AFRAID THIS MAY BE HER LAST VIDEO. THE OCCUPATION IS PLANNING TO INVADE NASSER HOSPITAL IN KHAN YUNIS, THE LAST FUNCTIONING HOSPITAL IN THE GAZA STRIP.
SHE WANTS PEOPLE TO SHARE THIS. PLEASE, PLEASE REBLOG.
Either the original post was deleted by instagram or herself but she posted a similar video to the previous one
[Audio transcription:
“Hey everyone, this is Bisan from Gaza. I'm still alive, I'm surviving after the day 3 after 100 [103], but that might be the last day or the last night in Nasser Medical Complex as the hospital is near to the invasion. The tanks are maybe 40-50 meters away from us, the soldiers as well. So the situation is really hard. The carpet bombing before this moment was just, yaani, unbelievable [sound of explosions] unbelievable. The bombings are really loud and are so close to us. The situation is complicated. I'm trying to find any internet connection to tell you what is happening, but [sound of rapid gunfire] Nasser Medical Complex is now near to be invaded. It's the last functioning hospital. I'm trying to find any internet connections [sound of another explosion] so I can tell you what is happening. The carpet bombing, the ambulances could not even reach the injuries or the people were killed and injured because of the carpet bombing in the areas of Batn Al-Sameen, Qizan an-Najjar, Jouret Al-Lout, the west and the south of Khan Yunis refugee camp. People who are displaced inside the hospital, dozens of thousands are just moving randomly — cannot find any place to go, they tried to go to the schools around the hospital or even to the refugee camp itself to find any safe place while the carpet bombing and the bombings — in general were, yaani, ongoing during their evacuating so it was and still so dangerous for people. The medical staff, the ambulances, many people also evacuated the hospital and that's so dangerous, this is the last functioning hospital in Gaza. That means that thousands of injuries are still now alone in the hospital. Displaced people are alone in the hospital. They are besieged, we are besieged, I don't know if I can survive this or go anywhere. I'm just alone. Alone as thousands, alone as many in other hospitals were before, in Al Shifa Hospital, and the Indonesian Hospital, and Kamal Adwan, it's a war against hospitals, against children, against women, against people with disabilities and injuries. People are just dying. I'm now talking to you in a risky place, in a dangerous place just watching everything and hearing everything by my ears, and by my eyes, to not tell you anything that's not true — it's true, they are invading the hospital, I'm trying now to upload this, to leave the phone uploading this and just to get away from here. If I could get back to the phone, and see if it's published I will, if I couldn't then that should be my last video. I'm still alive, but I don't know if I'm surviving this night. It's now 12:32 a.m., 17th of January 2024. Salam.”

As of 1:40m CST Bisan is still alive and has made a new post on instagram asking us to participate in a global strike.
Yemen asked the West to stop aiding in the genocide of the Palestinian people and uphold international law. The West said no.
Then Yemen conducted sanctions and blockaded a sea bordering their nation to prevent the illegal sail of those funding and abetting genocide and did so nonviolently while upholding the very international law that West refused to uphold. The West bombed them.
Yeah.

PALESTINE FILM INDEX
Palestine Film Index is a growing list of films from and about Palestine and the Palestinian struggle for liberation, made by Palestinians and those in solidarity with them. The index starts with films from the revolutionary period (68 - 82) made by the militant filmmakers of the Palestine Film Unit and their allies, and extends through a multitude of voices to the present day. It is by no means a complete or exhaustive representation of the vast universe that is Palestinian cinema, but is only a small fragmentary list that we hope nontheless can be used as an instrument of study & solidarity. As tools of knowledge against zionist propaganda and towards Palestinian liberation.
The century long war against Palestinians by the zionist project is one waged not only militarily but also culturally. The act of filmmaking, preservation, and distribution becomes an act against this attempted cultural erasure of ethnic cleansing. The power inherent in this form as a weapon against the genocidal project of zionism is evidenced in the ways it has been historically & currently targeted by the occupation forces: from the looting & stealing of the Palestine Cinema Institute archives during the siege of Beirut in 1982, through the long history of targeted assassinations of Palestinian filmmakers, journalists, artists, & writers (from PFU founder Hani Jawharieh, to Ghassan Kanafani, Shireen Abu Akleh, Refaat Alareer, and the over 100 journalists killed in the currently ongoing war on Gaza).
It is in this spirit of the use of film and culture as a way of focusing & transmitting information & knowledge that we hope this list can be used as one in an assortment of educational tools against hasbara (a coordinated and intricate system of zionist propaganda, media manipulation, & social engineering, etc) and all forms of propaganda that is weaponized against the Palestinian people. Zionist media & its collaborators remain one of the most effective fronts of the war, used to manufacture consent through deeply ingrained psychological manipulation of the general public agency. Critical and autonomous thought must be used as a tool of dismantling these frameworks. In this realm, film can play a vital roll in your toolkit/arsenal. Film must be understood as one front of the greater resistance. We hope in some small way we can help to distribute these manifestations of Palestinian life and the struggle towards liberation.
This list began as small aggregation to share among friends and comrades in 2021 and has since expanded to the current and growing form (it is added to almost every day). We have links for through which each film can be viewed along with descriptions, details such as run time, year, language, etc. We also have a supplemental list of related materials (texts, audio, supplemental video) that is small but growing. We have added information on contacts for distributors and filmmakers of each film in order to help people or groups who are interested in using this list to organize public screenings of these films. The makers of this list do not control the rights to these films and we strongly urge those interested in screening the works to get in touch with the filmmaker or distributors before doing so. This list was made with best intentions in mind, and in most cases with permission of filmmaker or through a publically available link, but if any film has mistakenly been added without the permission of a filmmaker involved and you would like us to remove it, or conversely if you are a filmmaker not included who would like your film to be added, or for any other thoughts, suggestions, additions, subtractions, complaints or concerns, please contact us at [email protected]. No one involved in this list is doing it as a part of any organization, foundation or non-profit and we are not being paid to do this, it is merely a labor of love and solidarity. His last tweet:
this is a cry for help lmfao keep boycotting
KEEP BOYCOTTING!!!
Just wanna add: the picture is important, the workers are also striking, which is helping with the revenue dropping. Join your local union. Our communities and our unity is what makes change: https://www.jordannews.jo/Section-113/All/Starbucks-loses-11-billion-in-market-value-amid-boycotts-32825
What to boycott NOW to help stop Israel’s unfolding genocide of Palestinians in Gaza
We call on our supporters to strengthen our targeted boycott and divestment campaigns to maximize our impact!
Reminder that boycotting DOES work, there is historic proof! Don't let anyone discourage you otherwise!
The BDS movement uses the historically successful method of targeted boycotts inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, the US Civil Rights movement, the Indian anti-colonial struggle, among others worldwide.
We must strategically focus on a relatively smaller number of carefully selected companies and products for maximum impact. Companies that play a clear and direct role in Israel’s crimes and where there is real potential for winning, as was the case with, among others, G4S, Veolia, Orange, Ben & Jerry’s and Pillsbury. Compelling such huge, complicit companies, through strategic and context-sensitive boycott and divestment campaigns, to end their complicity in Israeli apartheid and war crimes against Palestinians sends a very powerful message to hundreds of other complicit companies that “your time will come, so get out before it’s too late!”
Please reblog! Spread this! There is an effort by zionists to discourage people from boycotting! Don't let them trample your spirits and help us in the fight for a liberated Palestine!
hey! the house of representatives has unveiled a 14 billion dollar bill to arm Israel (by cutting the IRS budget, naturally, and making it easier for rich ppl to continue to avoid taxes.) the first hearing on this bill is TODAY, NOVEMBER 1, at 4PM ET. good time to call your reps and tell them a) not to vote for this and b) to urge them to call for (at minimum) a ceasefire.
also: the white house comment line is open at 202-456-1111 (I've seen that their hours are T-Th 11-3 ET but I can't find confirmation of that.) you may have to wait on hold for a bit (laughably they have the exact same hold music as my hospital's billing department. we live in a society.)
i could go on for days with the tweets that i've seen on twitter so here's a collective because i don't want tumblr to turn a blind eye and pretend like this ISN'T happening. we shouldn't have to be literally begging people to care about human lives being lost. the fact that we even have to beg is fucking insane.
im going to use my voice because they can't. they can't silence us all if we keep talking about it

Massive fuck you to everyone who is talking about Palestinians as if we’re already all dead and sharing more solidarity with our corpses than us living. “We will never forget the beautiful Palestinian people-“ how about you stop “making peace” with Palestinian extermination. My people are not going to be forgotten because we are going to live. Palestinians have already survived one genocide and have been surviving one ever since.
Do not ever let the idea that all Palestinians are going to die exist in your mind. Mourn the dead, fight like hell for the living.
