Hey everybody, don’t forget that the black stripe is for AIDS victims remembrance and respect. The brown stripe is still for LGBT+ POC, all groups should be respected though.

Let’s not forget that when LGBT+ people were suffering from a disease worse than COVID, the government stood by and refused to help until straight people started to be affected.

I may be too young to have experienced what happened back then, but what the community went through, and has been going through since, is awful.

I don’t want to be nitpicky, but I think that this part of our community’s history is too important to gloss over.
