Yello! I'm a crafty person. Here you'll find my tabletop game development and my side-hustle crafty business posts! Thanks for joining in on my journey for my creative ventures.
So it's over? I didn't realize
It's so much colder
But it was no surprise
Did you ever
Get to know me?
'Cause it has never been so plain to see
When you say you won't forget me
I can tell you that's not true
'Cause every day since you left me
I've thought less and less of you
And I've worn out all the reasons
To keep on knocking at your door
Could be the changing of the seasons
But I don't love you anymore
no lie, the second half of this post really helped me put a different perspective on my life and greatly the decreased the anxiety i have about my life to come
I don't wanna be forward, I don't wanna cut corners
Savor this with everything I have inside of me
I'm not the type to run, I know that we're having fun
But what's the rush? Kissing, then my cheeks are so flushed
Can you see me? I'm waiting for the right time
I can't read you, but if you want, the pleasure's all mine
Can you see me using everything to hold back?
I guess this could be worse
Walkin' out the door with your bags
I think what sucks the most about love
Is that you’re stuck with all these memories you can’t give up
And they’re gonna haunt you in your sleep
It would a miracle if you even get to sleep
Hi, this is how I wrap presents for people with lower fine motor control; it could be older people, younger people, people with disabilities.
You can use ribbon you already have for wrapping present, and I measured around the item I am about to wrap leaving a little bit of room for the handle.
I taped the beginning end of the ribbon to the box and then loop back the extra ribbon to make a handle, and it should look something like this
You can wrap pretty much like you normally do as long as you make sure that the handle is exposed .
You could even tie something onto the handle for extra support
All done!

Punctuation and spacing was added for readability but all the text is verbatim.
Another week, another tutorial on Scratch. I am also coding another game but having some troubles with it. Once I've sorted the problem, I just might show the progress.
But for now, I've always wanted to do a typing game codes. So this was very apt timing!
Yello tumblr! First of all, I'm back on this space, hopefully I would make this a consistent update on my journey to become more crafty person and an innovative tabletop game developer!
Second of all, my old tumblr post will be slowly removed to clear up for the rebrand I have for myself. I wanna be known as Holkers the tabletop game developer and crafty person. Any personal stuff will be moved to Instagram or Twitter! (handle name: holkerzu) So make sure you go there instead to get personal with me.
Third, I have so many things to share with you and I know it's gonna take me a long journey, so I hope you're patient and follow me along.
Finally, I'm turning 30 soon and I have nothing of legacy to leave behind. I'm taking the next 10 years to create that. And one of it is through 2 of my big projects that I am focusing on. A card game that was in hiatus for 10 years, and my crafty side-hustle, Matt Made Studios. I haven't been able to find a name for the games that I want to create yet, but I'm hoping I'm able to find one while I am in the development!
Here's to the first post of this tabletop game development blog!
October 10, 2023
2 weekends ago, I had the opportunity to network with one of the tabletop game develop who sold their cards to the market. Even since then, I had the opportunity to attend a public play test amongst other TT game devs, which was held this weekend.
So, the only game I had as a prototype was my very old card game, Pass That Bill. A Malaysian Legislative Card Game that makes players learn how a bill is passed.
The problem was, I don't remember the rulebook and during the play test, there was a lot of questions I wasn't able to answer and I kinda bullshit my way through it. They enjoyed the game, however there was no incentive to end the game or to turn the players against each other or to work together to win the game.
That was the moment there's room for improvement for this game. They loved the game and see the potential, however, it may not resonate to international players and only for locals.
I think this would help expats or someone who wants to be Malaysian citizen, this would be a good tool for them too, to understand how bills are made in Malaysia.
Anyhow, I forgot to take a photo of the play test while they were playing since I was taking notes and observing them playing. It's like that since from Silicon Valley, but without the separation room.
That's the update for this week. I still have a lot to learn and to do. I hope when you do read this, any inspiring developers out there would be able to help me, that would be great too.
Awkward and dying to be with her
But I can't say words when I'm passing by that figure
The ninth wonder this one world has to offer
I'm gonna call the paper to tell 'em what I have discovered
Well it's hard to alleviate this pressure
How can I confess that I want you
Just a puzzle that I can't put together
The pieces are all scattered around the room
Oh girl, I wish I wasn't so scared
I'd have you in my arms and I'd let you run your fingers through my hair
But for now I'll just daydream in the friendzone
The thought of telling you how I feel turns me colder than a stone.
