Had a project to give today, stayed at home instead. And now my sim tray is not working so I guess Gods have given their signs.

Somehow I feel like, being obsessed with the books, that any John Watson that's anything but in complete awe of Holmes is a wrong one. Any Sherlock Holmes that is not a complete gentleman to everyone, and specially tender with Watson, is not Holmes at all. Any Holmes brothers that are not cordial with each other are wrong.

People somehow like characters that are needlessly sassy, angry or have a terrible attitude. Maybe it makes them feel good about their own impulses, or maybe they enjoy the escapades of those ill informed decisions like people back then used to enjoy Jesters. Either way, finding newer versions of old characters turning simply into empty sensational material is disappointing.
