It's been a while

A year ago I finally became independent and started living in a rented room. So many things have happened since I mived overseas:

In less than 2 years I to to work on 4 jobs

Now i'm jobless... Again

I got to meet a wonderful and cute guy that has been my boyfriend for more than a year and I love him so much ❤️

Got to meet @viahhapocalyptica in London and it was a blast ❤️

Met soo many great people in Madrid!

Started my own character brand, KyaraBat.

I'm writting this because lately I've been feeling bad about myself, like a disappointment because dropping out of uni because a depressive episode and Venezuelan crisis and because not having a stable job or have chosen a good career option.

Anyway, a reminder to myself of all the great things I have accomplished so far. I really hope to have a job soon!

Last night I had a dream with @viahhapocalyptica and @awkwardbananapeel. We went to an Apo concert and I remember I was so excited to meet you. Sarah’s mom went to the concert hall earlier to get us the tickets, but they were sold out. I was panicking, and then someone wanted us to buy their tickets, each one at 1000$. I said “oh shit I can’t spend my savings for moving to Spain on concert tickets” and started panicking. 

Someway or another we got into the gig. I was soooooooo excited, almost crying! It was so vivid :’)

The Rabbit Plan

The Venezuelan government has come up with a plan to beat hunger: giving communities bunnies so that they will, and I quote, “breed like bunnies”, and thus become a replacement to beef.

I can’t make this up.

My favorite part is “don’t keep rabbits as pets, look at them as MEAT” as said by Freddy Bernal, the man who also has in his history such famous statements as “well, all those companies we took from people sort of went broke because we didn’t know how to run them.”

The minister called for activating a campaign to change the way people see rabbits so that instead of viewing them as pets, they will realize that they are “2.5 kilos of meat” on the table.

“We have been taught that the rabbit is a very nice pet … but the rabbit is seen as a wartime commodity. A female rabbit gives birth to 10 to 12 bunnies, eight of which reach adulthood in the end” Bernal said. “In two and a half months you have a two and a half kilogram rabbit.”

I’ve been worrying about her since her start in the US took a huge setback when Harvey hit, and while she avoided the brunt of it by driving out of Houston during the Hurricane, being out of the city - with a lease signed she couldn’t move into yet because of what happened - and unable to settle down and start job hunting has really put her behind. I just appreciate any prayers/thoughts/good vibes you can send her way!
