hey guys just a small lil PSA thing. trying to be non-aggro about this beucase i know a lot of people just don’t know. But the reason a lot of tumbr’s dash changes were made were for accessibility. a LOT OF PEOPLE on tumblr and in the tumblr rpc use screen readers or vision enhancing tools to read their dashboards (many who you don’t even know do it.) I get that many of us are frustrated over the dash looking different but it’s a small price to pay so that people with visiual impairments and other disabilities can read their dashboards and your blog. As nice as you can make photoshop and screenshot replies look, they’re actually kind of a slap in the face to those people, essentially removing their ability to access your blog/posts and putting it on them to make the potentially uncomfortable request of asking you to not do that for their replies. It stops screen readers from being able to read your text. And it also may make your replies unreadable to anyone using color changers on their dash to help with their vision. So please do consider not screenshotting/photoshopping your replies and posts for the sake of making the community more accessible to others. Please reblog this post even if it doesnt’ apply to you, even if it DOES apply to your friends and mutuals. I know a lot of people just aren’t aware that this is a thing so let’s make them aware and make the community a safer and more accessible place for everyone we can.
Raise your hand if you, too, have been emotionally compromised by FF7 canon.

Kirschtaria overhears her and quickly folds a piece of paper at his table into a fan before handing it to her.
“Here, this should help,” he says hopefully.
Alice looked embarrassed to be ‘called out’ as it was, but she laughed it off. She embarrassed herself everyday, that was fine. “Oh my gosh, thank you I hope you don’t think I was being passive aggressive or anything, I was just venting.” How nostalgic, she thought: the paper fan reminded of her childhood days, folding paper (a lot more badly than this) and colouring them in and such. Sure, it was just a small thing, but it was better than nothing. “I don’t handle the heat very well, but I don’t have air con at my house. So for me, the summer really blows.”
It’s not obvious who she’s talking to. Maybe Alice is trying to summon an icy primal, maybe she’s just venting or maybe it’s Maybelline. What’s obvious is that her pasty skinsuit is suffering in this sweltering heatwave. “It’s so hot here, and I’m suffering. What the actual fuck guys, help me.”
Character Interview: Alice Hope
( repost, don’t reblog )
BASICS
NAME: Alice Corin Hope
NICKNAME: Al, Ali, Alipoyon, Chu
AGE: Can be played at any age but usually in her twenties.
SPECIES: Usually human with abilities.
PERSONAL
MORALITY: Chaotic neutral
RELIGION: Usually agnostic, but it’s verse dependent. If she has moved to a world that she knows, IE in the Pokeverse or an FF place like Gaia or Ivalice then she knows gods exist. As a citizen of a different world, though, it depends on the status quo.
SINS: greed / gluttony / sloth / lust / pride / envy / wrath
VIRTUES: chastity / charity / diligence / humility / kindness / patience / justice
PRIMARY GOALS IN LIFE: To be comfortable (if not loaded with money), to be healthy, safe and stable. Wants a home with pets and a partner (or ten - she likes harem anime too much). She would love to be a famous idol in verses where she isn’t one.
KNOWN LANGUAGES: Usually just English with some vocabulary in other languages from travel or consuming foreign media. Otherwise, whatever’s considered native/common.
PHYSICAL BUILD: scrawny / bony (her wrists and forearms are weirdly tiny) / slender / fit / athletic / curvy / herculean / pudgy / average
HEIGHT: 5′1 1/2
WEIGHT: She doesn’t weigh herself but her exercise and amount of food consumed varies, so it changes a lot.
SCARS / BIRTHMARKS: Alice has no birthmarks, though she does have a mole on one side of her forehead and on the side of one foot. She has a lot of scars from her injections and scratching herself. There were some from sunburns but they’ve faded.
ABILITIES / POWERS: Alice is a voyager/nomad of the universe in that she drifts between worlds and timelines with a varying amount of control. In her native Pokemon verse, she has a natural attunement to many Pokemon likely because of how hyper-empathetic she is.
RESTRICTIONS: Depending on the verse she has little control of where she goes to and lands, and in some cases she has no knowledge of the place whatsoever or powers to back that up.
FAVORITES
FOOD: One of Alice’s weaknesses is food. She particularly loves mushrooms in terms of vegetables and most things with spinach and garlic as well as prawns/shrimp. She is bad when it comes to binging and goes through phases with her favourite snacks.
DRINK: Iced cold water is her go-to, but she also loves sugar free fizzy drinks and most juices. Alice doesn’t drink hot drinks or most juice with bits like orange pulp.
PIZZA TOPPING: Thin based or stuffed pizzas with plenty of cheese, she also like pizzas with egg on the top!
COLOR: Pink!
MUSIC GENRE: Pop and her favourite soundtrack pieces.
BOOK GENRE: Mostly fantasy and adventures. With comics she is obsessed with heroes, particularly magical girls, and romances/harems or comedic slices of life like Azumanga or Lucky Star.
MOVIE GENRE: Alice will watch most genres of movies, but she’s obsessed with heroes, action, adventures and comedies. Sci fi!
SEASON: Spring.
CURSE WORD: Alice curses a lot, usually the f-word. She also uses bollocks and saves a good ‘c u next Tuesday’ for people she really, truly despises. She likes a good use of the word wank/wanker as well.
SCENTS: Alice adores perfume and is usually wearing it if she’s got somewhere to go. She struggles with ones that are too strong because her nose gets overwhelmed, but she enjoys more sensual notes as well as things that are floral and classy. But really, Alice has a good variation on scents. If she knows that a partner enjoys a particular perfume she’ll wear it more often around them.
FUN STUFF
BOTTOM OR TOP: Alice likes the idea of being on bottom but usually ends up on top given that she’s usually not shy and enjoys winding up her partners and getting reactions out of them.
SINGS IN THE SHOWER: Eh, if there’s music playing. Otherwise no, she tends to think in the shower, or her mind wanders and she starts talking to herself or getting verbal tics as her internal monologue gets loose. Because Alice is autistic and has grown up adapting/suppressing symptoms, these things get out when people are absent and she lets her guard down.

multifandommuseroulette:
It took nearly three weeks before the egg started to crack, and a little pink, digitless paw shoved itself out. It poked around a bit, adorable grumbling sounds coming from within, before pulling back in. For a moment, a dark eye peeked out, and then without warning the little creature headbutted its way out.
It tumbled out at once, pink head over cream colored hindfeet, landing on its little butt to stare up at her. It cocked its head at once, making a little squeak of a bark.
It was a little girl Snubbull, adding a solid Fairy type to her team!
Those three weeks were painful. Alice had anxiety, sure, but they didn’t usually manifest over stuff like this. The longer the egg took, though? It was a living nightmare, and no amount of internet searches and conversations with other trainers could convince her that everything was going okie-dokie.
She and Wooloo had stopped for a rest and something to eat when the incubator began to grumble. Alice lit up like a Christmas tree, gasping in excited astonishment as the first paw broke loose. “Oh my god-- oh my god, it’s happening! Willie, look!” The trainer grabbed and prodded at the Wooloo’s coat, and Wilhelmina baa’d expressively, big eyes trained on the incubator.
As suddenly as the process had started, it suddenly reached its climax. Alice yelped and recoiled as the baby sprung forth and busted the top of its temporary house, tumbling along the grass and landing on its keester. The Pokemon, which Alice already knew to be a Snubbull, could barely bark, and her new owner was very emotional about the whole thing.
“Oh my god. Baby. You’re such a baby, you can’t even bark, oh my goodness!” Alice squealed and cooed. She carefully inched a hand out for the Pokemon to sniff, tearful and overflowing with love, only reaching to gather the canine up once she was sure it wouldn’t try to take a chunk out of her. The Pokedex confirmed its little measurements and gender along with the usual information it dished out. The Snubbull was a baby girl.
“Oh my goodness. I’m gonna call you Samantha. Sammi for short.” Alice decided, snuggling the unfortunate - maybe?? - soul. “And this is Wilhelmina, your big sister. Welcome to the family, my bouncing little baby girl. Yes you are, yes you are!”
Wilhelmina bleated. This was going to get tiring real fast...
Pokémon Egg Giveaway 6/50
URL: @hopefulalice
NAME: Alice Hope
PERSONALITY: Spoiled, hyper-empathetic, materialistic, obsessive/passionate, introverted, talkative, imaginative, open-minded, eccentric, adamant, cautious
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Alice goes through bouts of being very active but usually struggles to keep it up. Due to some conditions, she also struggles with exhaustion/lethargy and physical strain.
WHERE YOU LIVE: In this verse, Alice is more nomadic, but at heart she’s a city girl who prefers cooler climates! Also, Alice is ‘allergic’ to mud and scary/vaguely difficult trails and climbing anyway… So…
EXPERIENCE: Oh, she’s inexperienced. Alice came across a Wooloo after finding herself in the Pokemon world and has managed to capture it, and… That’s about it?? She’s battled a bit like a noob?? She played the games in her own dimension??? rip
THINGS YOU’RE LOOKING FOR: Alice already has a Wooloo, so anything other than a normal type would be golden!
Lily contemplated the submission for a while, debating. Yet another newbie trainer - always so nice to see, but also something that needed consideration. Especially considering the personality profile. It sounded like the best she could choose would be something that would be equally okay with being active and inactive… something friendly and easy to train… something that liked city life, but wouldn’t balk at some travel… and it wasn’t supposed to be Normal, which crossed out things like Meowths, which might well have fit the bill.
But she had an idea, smiling to herself as she went to select an egg and bring it out to the waiting newbie trainer.
“And here you are, Alice… now, there was no mention of your equipment or lack thereof… I brought an incubator, and a spare Pokédex, just in case you need either.”
6/50 eggs given away - accepting
The Pokemon world was super exciting, as Alice Hope had come to find, if not totally terrifying. She did have to appreciate its utopian quality of unity, in that humans and Pokemon naturally worked together in most cases and heavier criminality was more of a shocking exception than just expected in this world. The Wooloo that she had found in the grass and befriended had been a grace of luck – just as the canon had always preached, the grass was unsafe and there were people on every corner looking for a scrap. Her roly poly Pokemon of fluff had toughened up even in their short time together.
When she had seen a notice about a breeder taking applications for eggs, Alice couldn't resist. Not only was the mystery of an egg exciting, she really could do with more Pokemon on her team, and her throwing skills were quite frankly naff. As it was, the amount of eggs were in limited supply, and it had been a shock to learn that she hadn't even been beyond the first ten to receive one. That was crazy.
“Oh my goodness – I need all of these things, so thank you so much!” The newbie's voice oozed gratitude, taking the incubator first and the egg second, careful as she placed the unborn babe in its safeguard. The egg's shell was smooth, an appealing pink with an accent of pastel blue – right up her natural aesthetic. It screamed normal or fairy, and while Alice had her theories of what the Pokemon could be, she didn't want the surprise ruined. The Pokedex was a basic red, but that didn't matter. Maybe one day she could afford a case, or just cover it with nice stickers, but at least she had one! There would be time for that.
“Thank you so much, Lily. Seriously. This means the world to me, you have no idea.” Alice expressed. Soon she was off on her way, the rolling Wooloo at her side. As much as possible, Alice tried to carry the incubator in her arms rather than cramming it in her bag, but the egg's safety was her number one priority. Even when buckling down for bed in Pokemon Centres or motels, she'd make sure that it was out of the way of stumbling feet or rolling sheep, but perfectly in view, and the trainer spent as much time chattering and singing to the egg as she did her Pokemon companion. Alice could only hope that Wilhelmina wasn't jealous or wouldn't be when the baby was born. Oh, Alice hoped it would be born-- how awful would it be if the creature never hatched? Arceus weeps, she'd hate herself.
She had so many hopes and so many fears for their little Egglet, but all Alice could really hope for was that it arrived healthily and didn't hate her-- and maybe that it also didn't have an affinity for fire. That too. She'd rather a spoopy ghost over something that could burn the place down. Eesh.
Did up some icons for @hopefulalice, my fellow Pokemon nerd, so I thought I’d show you guys what the basic setup I’m using looks like (Lily’s is very similar). Feel free to like but please don’t reblog or use since they’re for her.

if the thing that originally caused them to realise / start the chain reaction to realising they weren’t cishet had not happened, how much longer would it had take to end up here?
do they consider to ‘always have been’, or do they see the phases in their life before coming out as ‘back when i was [cis/straight/allo]’?
how are their feelings towards pride and related phenomenons?
how does their family feel about the matter? friends? coworkers?—and does their thoughts matter to your muse?
what’s your muse’s relationship with the current state of their body?
