Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

am I a bit insane for learning five separate, very different languages at the same time?

to be fair, I academically learned Spanish for five years so my base is already solid there, plus growing up in a state with highly spoken Spanish

But I’ve also got like French (easy ish just cause of my native English base and my understanding of Latin root words), welsh (heritage), Irish (heritage and love of the language), and Japanese (I would like to travel okay). I do also work on Arabic, and plan to add Korean and maybe Farsi as well at some point.

people don’t understand just how built for linguistics my brain is, it’s cultural and a lot of being able to paste sounds to images of concepts, items, places, feelings held in your mind

as a pharmacy technician i can share with you some websites that give you those "coupons" for your meds!

goodrx is the most well known one, but if i'm trying to find the cheapest price for a patient i compare it to scriptcycle, and use whichever is offering the best price. you just type in the medication (PLEASE make sure you're getting the right drug, dosage, and quantity) and your zip code and they will spit out some offers for you

some pharmacies may have their own discount card to compare to as well!

if you are getting a name brand medication, you can also look at the manufacturer's website to see if they offer any evouchers for you to use too

Mint tea is amazing for debloat and whenever I feel bloated on my period or something I just drink some mint tea and I feel better right away. Also mint is great for digestive discomfort. If you feel really uncomfortable in your abdomen or you feel really sick mint tea is really a healing tea. It does wonders.

My favorite thing about lavender is how it can calm me down. I think lavender flowers look beautiful in your home and their purple color is just beautiful. Lavender can really calm you down. If you ever feel stressed, nervous or angry I recommend lavender tea or lavender scent.

Chamomile how I love chamomile tea. It helps me with stress, my mood is better and of course I sleep better so every night before going to bed I make myself a cup of chamomile tea and I sleep like a baby. It's good. It tastes great and it makes me feel happy.

If you ever wondered why grandma added ginger to your tea when you felt sick and nauseous there's a reason. It helps with stomach cramps and therefore it can help ease the tension in your gut and you won't throw up so much.

And finally something not everyone is talking about enough. Red clover. It helps with high hormones. If you are going through puberty or you are having mood swings it can be because of hormones. You can find good tea with red clover in and it can help. It can smooth your heart work, lower your blood sugar and even help with menopause.

I'm not a doctor so therefore I only written what I was thought and what I know. For any reason if you want to take some random plants and eat them please don't. First you need to read about said herbs and plants since some can be dangerous. If you want more answers or something go look in the books. Plants are not like paint you can mix.

Someone said “The slow burn of becoming yourself” and I think that might be one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. It’s such a good reminder of how much it takes, how much character development, how much change, and beauty and courage it takes to reach your soul and I hope no one ever gives up on becoming themselves because it’s a never ending journey that only gets better.

hahahaha i love watching illiteracy and permanence rot critical thinking skills, nuance is a talent people lack yes but more concerningly the ability to be less rigid in thinking is also something I’ve noticed people lacking more - i wonder if a virus known to cause frontotemporal lobe damage in out coming studies could be the cause? or is it more just the natural human inability to look at another group and put your feet in the scenario? that does require conscious effort and it’s easier to just say “that’s not how it is! look at how stupid they are!” than open your imagination to the fact that literally nothing is permanent and everything will turn to dust or change as time proceeds forward dragging us all through an ever changing scenery - just because we see a forest now doesn’t mean it’s not burning well in front of us

to be fair, my more “unique” upbringing of being indoctrinated into believing the rapture is going to occur before i turned 18 and i was going to just go *poof* out of corporeal existence because god snapped his fingers in a separate dimension and called me away from the mortal realm because of my special belief in his existence and the literal religious war and still literal spiritual war contorted by my grandmother specifically (no church going - she doesn’t like churches cause they don’t preach like her) and having full belief about it until i was about 9? 10? 11? Took me a few years, won’t lie, to deconstruct that. I was actively in public schools and it still took a bit. I see the same happening again and again in history and I have terrific pattern recognition, it’s why i halted my belief in very terrifying existential religious belief systems like that. But when you don’t recognize tools of control as such, what would you believe? I don’t need the threat of being left behind after a rapture (which rapturous? that’s an interesting word to use for a mass “death” event which it isn’t seen as death hence it’s a rapturous event so yes, cult) to have morals and ethics. i apparently did need to be raised by a woman who believes still so fervently in that sort of dissociated reality in order to actually recognize when those tools of control are being actively used and perpetuated, I don’t like being controlled and nobody really should as a human being, but belief is a powerful thing, and once a human believes whole heartedly in something, it’s hard to change their minds. I don’t believe in much, I know certain things and that can change as information changes and reality and facts show themselves to me and others. I don’t believe humans are the only consciousness. I don’t believe it’s all one god. I don’t believe there’s no god. I believe humans have no genuine clue as a whole, about what has gone on behind the scenes of our development, lost information and stories as generations have gone on and changed the wordings just slightly - whether because a leader wanted people to lean on them instead of other “outside” leaders or understanding was lost in teaching. belief is control and I choose to believe that nothing is certain except time continuing on, in whatever shape it takes, and that we learn as we go as a species. but we don’t have all the information and knowledge do we? so how can you believe so fervently?

how long until the USA stops Americans from flying out of country? how long until the “closed borders” becomes full reality? how long until no one can leave unless given strict permission? how long until berlin? how long until the DMZ? how long until people realize this is not going to stop, that checks and balances only works if both sides respects it? how long until judges are killed not just attempts? how long until people realize this is not fear mongering, but a realistic proposition to reality changing that most can’t fathom because of an idea of permanence that doesn’t exist? how long until it all becomes quiet? how long until service providers cut access to out of country contact? how long until service providers stop allowing and start tracking peoples spending fully? how long until all of you accept what you are seeing around you? this is Fahrenheit 451° not 1984. this is the process not the end result. you take the warning from 2 + 2 = 5 but not from the book of burning books and keeping hushed inside houses and protests being massacred. what will it take for people to understand the deadly coil wrapping around us all, poising to swallow us whole, there’s no need for poison anymore, permanence has rotted the minds of many.

another question I have to pose is why do people think the midterms will save us? why do you fully believe that the voting system, which has been raided by federal agents - used as leverage against governors and state governments - and fraudulently counted (there is absolute proof of this don’t fucking argue with me right now that’s not the hill you want to die on)- will be used with due respect, diligence, and integrity when historically the last few elections there has been abuse to the system. why do you fully believe whole heartedly that the systems will still stay on the side of pure truth and dignity. there is an entire working network pushing for no more elections since the oppressive regime has already gained power. WHY DO YOU BELIEVE THE SYSTEM WILL STILL WORK AND YOUR VOTE WILL MATTER?

why can so few of you look past your own nose, and realize that the history you probably skipped reading is important because there was one last election in germany, that election won a chancellor that capability to become a dictator. why do you believe it is so impossible in the United States? how are you so rigid in belief that it is completely unfathomable that the United States has fallen in true respect to a democratic republic, which apparently so few realize what that truly is because the United States has never been a pure democracy.

how do you believe that the system will still work when they have actively dismantled every other possible avenue? why wouldn’t they dismantle the last one everyone is now relying on?
