I cannot express how much I love this.

There are two reasons to get good in art:

1) you want to sell it.

2) you enjoy the challenge and process of improving.

If neither of those appeal but you still wanna make art….do it bad. Do whatever tf makes you happy. Only draw one thing. Use cheap supplies. Trace and transfer and copy whatever you want. Finger paint. Frame the ones you like. Toss ones you don’t.

If you’re not trying to sell art it is 100% for you, for fun and there is literally NO WAY to do it wrong (….unless it injures you.)

And wanting to be better and practice hard and learn how to do it “right” is ABSOLUTELY one of the right ways. It’s just one of many, many right ways.
