“A crushingly difficult fantasy-horror action game for PC & mobile platforms.”
Really like the aesthetic and combos in the gifs. Also, the main character design reminds me of batman, but with antlers. So awesome. O.O
It’s planned for release in 2016, and you can follow the progress on the TIGForums here.

Milton-Bradley board games based on Sega’s Turbo and Zaxxon. Seriously, a Zaxxon board game? And why only ages 7-14? Can I no longer play these games as an adult man-child?
I must own these.

Decided to go around taking pictures of places in Metroid Prime while in Dolphin on the highest settings and resolution I could get it to.
Metroid Prime is still a very good looking game and the Gamecube didn’t exactly do it justice, the game can look much better.
In the first picture is a side-by-side comparison of Metroid Prime native, and Metroid Prime on these settings. Textures are cleaner, edges are sharper. It looks better overall.
(You may open the images up in another tab to see them at their biggest.)

Played Batman: Arkham Knight - Meaningless Car Metaphors | Justin Lacey
I kind of feel like a dick for how I've treated Arkham Knight. It has been subject to a lot of criticism from me throughout its development. That criticism comes from a positive place though. Arkham Asylum is one of my favorite games of all time, if not just my favorite superhero game.
Stop and think about where superhero games were before Asylum came out. Batman not only changed superhero games, but it changed action games. The core gameplay is the best brawler since the 2D arcade games of the late 80s/early 90s. A fighting system that has been mimicked almost as much as Gears of War's cover-based shooting. That mimicking, and the fact that Knight is the 4th Arkham game in 6 years, has given a lot people, including myself, an uncomfortable fatigue with the series. From that fatigue comes ill-formed ideas on how to "fix" the series. Which begs the question, was it broken?
After 3 hours with Arkham Knight, I don't think it was ever broken. I was a stewing ball of tension while I loaded up the game. I was ready to pick it apart, and then something amazing happened. I became the Batman again. I love being the Batman. I love the Batman's toys. I love the Batman's detective skills. I love the Batman's broken bone filled dedication to his code. I love the Batman's fatherly protection of his sidekicks. I even love the Batman's unnecessary but equally satisfying hovertank of a conveyance. Everything felt right and in its place.
The time for criticism will come. I will always want the perfect Batman game. I will always want a perfect action game. I will want to define Arkham Knight's place. However, based on how I instantaneously pushed aside all of my prepared prejudice the moment the Batmobile helped me takedown my first thug, I'm pretty sure Rocksteady wants the same thing. I'm at peace and I'm ready to exact my vengeance on the foes of Gotham once again.
Batman: Arkham Knight was released on June 23rd and is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For more B:AK check out the archive video of Aaron's Livestream.

Doomworld user Blackmantis has been on a mission as of lately, to collect the toy guns that were used in the development of Doom. So far, he owns the shotgun (Tootsie Toy Dakota Shotgun), the Plasma Rifle (a Rambo rifle toy gun), the BFG (“The Machine”, a chinese bootleg toy gun) and even the chainsaw (Eager Beaver McCulloch)
And now he posted recently a couple of pictures, confirming the source for the Chaingun itself, a Tootsie Toy “Ol’ Painless” Gatling Gun. As seen on the screenshots above, not only it matches perfectly the final sprite, there’s a small fragment of the side of the toy gun which was used in one of Doom’s ‘tech’ textures, just like the BFG toy gun
The debate still continues about the real source for Doom’s Rocket Launcher, though. Is it true pixel art, or there’s another toy gun yet to be discovered? That remains to be seen.
