Not all Orb fans jumped the gun after the Kentucky Derby. Some of us just like him. We didn't all head for Belmont with the Triple Crown in hand.

Most top horses have overzealous fans. I wish that people that happen to like horses with those overzealous fans (Orb, Zenyatta) wouldn't get generalized into that same category.

A horse's name is a lot to me. Somehow, I managed to like the Preakness winner's name less than the Derby winner's name. At this rate, one of the kittens is going to win the Belmont.

There is a horse named Yolo Kitten and I think Thoroughbred owners have officially run out of ideas.

I just found out that I'll have the opportunity to go back to Dubai for the World Cup next year. I'm networking like crazy in hopes that I'll only be purchasing a one way ticket.

We have not had a shining star that brought the masses to the sport in years. Zenyatta fans supported Zenyatta. Rachel Alexandra fans supported Rachel Alexandra. Where are those fans now? Not in the stands. We do not need horse followers, we need sport followers.

I got way too excited watching the derby when I heard the announcer shouted "And Normandy Invasion is storming home!" around the turn

I'm finally actually entering the industry and my goal is be a leading figure in the movement to make horse racing the sport of kings again. I do not think that I have ever wanted something so badly.

Narvaez is a horse with a lot of talent and I hope none of it is wasted.

St Nicholas Abbey needs way more recognition from the tumblr community. He's a fantastic gutsy horse, and is one of my favourites.

I really dislike the way the horse racing community on tumblr is so American-centric. Other nations never seem to get a look in unless its the Grand National or the Melbourne Cup. Everyone always harps on about the American greats but what about the other greats? Makybe Diva, Brigadier Gerard, Vodka, Sea the Stars, Goldikova etc?

I secretly think the racing industry should conspire and let a horse win the Triple Crown.

I never thought i'd defend a Todd Pletcher horse so hard. But, I can't help but get rude with people when they talk bad about Palace Malice's derby run was. It was Mike's fault.

I'm really angry at the pace that was set in the Derby this year. I truly believe that if the pace hadn't been so ridiculous, Vyjack would have won and not Orb. It was completely unfair.

I wish Normandy Invasion would race in the last 2 TC races. I think he would have a good chance in them

I think it's really cool how Orb, Revolutionary, and Freedom Child all were in the race that Orb broke his maiden in. And it looks now like they'll all meet up again in the Belmont!
