Newt ‘bloody can’t risk anyone else’s’ face (x)
"That would explain the segregation, I guess." Colby replied and eyed the building up and down. "At least we’re out here. I’d hate to be in there."
"Same. I feel kind of bad saying it, though."
"It was never the flu,” Harry commented as he walked up beside Horus, phone at his ear as he tried yet again to phone his brothers. “The flu was a scapegoat, they still have no clue but they do know it’s a virus.”
Horus knew that what he had said was true, but said nothing about it.
"You have people in there?"
I hope they dinf a cure.
"They'll have to. There are a lot of sick people in there."
"My brother, he’s the only one I know for sure is in there. The rest I still haven’t been able to locate.”
"I am sorry to hear that."
"Wow, you must be a real genius to figure that out."
"Guess so."
"Nope," Layla replied, not looking away from the same spot she’d been staring for the past hour. "Not just the flu."
He looked to the girl with sad eyes. "Who's in there?" He asked.
"I guess it's not just a flu, then." Horus said, staring at the quarantined building.
Hopping up to the first steps of the staircase, Sam said, “My name is Sam. What’s yours?”
"Horus." He answered, trailing after her.
"Yes, of course… it was a pleasure talking to you, Horus."
Horus set down his cup and stuck his hound out for Harry to shake. "Pleasure was all mine. Thank you for the tea."
"Right, sorry. Latte’s aren’t all too fancy, its just two parts milk and two parts coffee."
"Sounds good."
"Oh—sorry, I won’t ask about it again." Looking down, Maya realized that she might’ve asked something that’s a little too personal to talk about with someone he just met.
"It's fine, though I prefer not to talk about things I don't remember." Horus didn't mean to sound too angry, though it really did grind his gears when people asked questions like that.
DO you have a nickname?
"I might with some people. But I go by Horus."
