in an alternate universe there’s a direct pipeline to the gods where you can just talk to them and ask for shit but most of the time if your wish is stupid they’ll vaporize you but one day Adam and Jamie came to the gods and were like “hey we wanna take Mythbusters to the next level can we have infinite lives like a video game so whenever we die we just wake up the next day completely ok” and the gods were like “this should be really fuckin good” and gave them both immortality so they started testing Fucked Up Unethical Myths like “can you survive on nothing but toothpaste” and “how far high up do you have to jump from for a belly flop onto water to kill you” and “what happens if you swallow live explosives and then explode them” and “how long can you survive in sulfuric acid” and stuff like that and then the gods are just watching them and laughing their asses off and if a TV network refuses to broadcast the new “Mythbusters Dying Edition: this shit’s fucked up now!” they get vaporized also

What’s encrypting your internet surfing? An algorithm created by a supercomputer? Well, if the site you’re visiting is encrypted by the cyber security firm Cloudflare, your activity may be protected by a wall of lava lamps.
Cloudflare covers websites for Uber, OKCupid, & FitBit, for instance. The wall of lamps in the San Francisco headquarters generates a random code. Over 100 lamps, in a variety of colors, and their patterns deter hackers from accessing data.
As the lava lamps bubble and swirl, a video camera on the ceiling monitors their unpredictable changes and connects the footage to a computer, which converts the randomness into a virtually unhackable code.
Codes created by machines have relatively predictable patterns, so it’s possible for hackers to guess their algorithms, posing a security risk. Lava lamps, add to the equation the sheer randomness of the physical world, making it nearly impossible for hackers to break through.
You might think that this would be kept secret, but it’s not. Simply go in and ask to see the lava lamp display. By allowing people to affect the video footage, human movement, static, and changes in lighting from the windows work together to make the random code even harder to predict.
So, by standing in front of the display, you add an additional variable to the code, making it even harder to hack. Isn’t that interesting?

hey everybody, im sorry i sound so desperate here, but my landlord and my roomate want danny gone. hes disabled (his leg is deformed) and hand raised, so he wont survive on his own outside, and i desperately need to find a home for him. i live in philadelphia and cannot drive but i am willing to take the busses wherever i need to! if you can come pick him up yourself though he comes with a cage and a diaper (just the diaper is coming w him if i have to drop hom off though, as im disabled and bringing such a huge cage on the busses and trains would be impossible.
it has more in it now, but im at work and i cant take a picture of it right this second. ill be updating this post with pictures of his current setup that he would be coming with, but because this situation is so desperate hes literally free. the cage cost like 150$ off craigslist, and buying it new would be close to 400$ just because its so large. it’s a little old because its double used, but its better than nothing
