In Ancient Greece, Fate and Gods walk with mortals and beasts alike. Some gods are flighty, sometimes Fate has a sense of humor, and at one point Sirius and Marlene just hope they’ll make it out alive.

Chapter 1

Over the course of his life, Sirius had grown rather accustomed to the sound of his mother’s screaming. It wasn’t even always directed at him. He learned to tune it out regardless.

The weather was just lovely outside and as per usual, the vines in his yard behind the family shop grew more prosperous than any of the neighbors. Those vines were a little thing he prided himself on. For all the disappointment and shame he brought his mother, she could never say that he was disappointing in the realm of growing grapes.

He stood in his family’s shop beneath their living quarters, the Grecian sun seemed much cheerier than his day was going, but he seemed to have an innate ability to bounce back. Sirius was, by nature, jovial. It surprised even him considering the woman before him was his mother.

“Are you even listening to me!” His mother stomped her foot. “You can’t just give away our food! We have a shop to run! We aren’t meant to let filth rob us! Especially not on purpose.”

When I used to think about Voldemort’s horcruxes I imagined a soul divided in equal portions residing in the different horcruxes and Voldemort himself. I realised that this can’t be true in The Half-Blood Prince Slughorn describes making a horcrux as splitting ones soul in two. This means that when Riddle made his Diary into a horcrux he split his soul in half and physically removed one half from his body and placed it in the diary. This means that he only had half of his soul left when he made his next horcrux, Marvolo’s ring. This half would have been split in half leaving only a quarter in Voldemort’s body. This goes on and on the amount of soul remaining in Voldemort halving each time he makes a horcrux until he had only 1/128 or 0.78125% left in his body. As shown in the graph above. So next time you wonder why Voldemort could have done some of things he did, remember how little human he had left in him. I don’t know about you but I think that this is crazy.

this is also hecka important when you think in terms of how much power resided in each of his horcruxes. Harry only had a small fraction of Voldemort’s soul in him, and it was enough to torture him for years. Voldemort was only a fraction of what he once was, and look at all the shit he fucked up. Now imagine how powerful his first horcrux, the diary, was. Percentage-wise, it was the most powerful part of Voldemort. Ginny Weasley was possessed by something almost fifty times as powerful as what Harry had to deal with for an entire year, and she was eleven. That’s incredible and terrifying. So if you ever think to yourself, “Ginny was useless” or “Ginny wasn’t nearly as much of a badass as the rest of the gang,” go ahead and punch yourself in the face because Ginny Weasley battled Voldemort in a much more powerful form as an 11-year-old and won.

He has longer hair at the age of 15, during “Snape’s worst memory". How long we don’t know, but It’s long enough to be in his eyes and have a wave of “casual elegance”, so we can assume it’s quite long.

Sirius is described with “long black hair” In the Harry Potter prequel written by J.K Rowling at a charity event. During that story, it’s said that James and Sirius are around 17, placing the story in their last year at Hogwarts, 1978. I believe the Order picture is taken sometime during the summer of 1981, so Sirius has some time to lose the mane.

Chapter 26

In the nightmares that Sirius used to have about leading an army into Semprapuria, it was always his brother Regulus on the other side, looking disgusted with him. It helped him stay focused to remember that Regulus had gone down fighting for his side so he could win. The one family member who he always felt conflicted over was an ally at the eleventh hour, and he would not dishonor his brother’s sacrifice by succumbing to his own cowardice.

James was meant to take on Riddle himself in any case. James was an exemplary warrior king, and he would be able to best the up-jumped Barron, Sirius had faith.

We know about friendly and loyal hufflepuffs, but not every day is a good day what is the Havel puff when they’re not happy?

1. Angry Hufflepuffs

Not a lot of things can make a Hufflepuff truly angry you can make a Hufflepuff mad and maybe irritated but is very hard to get one angry. That however does not mean a Hufflepuff will never get angry. One surefire way to get them angry is to hurt one of their friends. They will call for blood (metaphorically… probably). Hell hath no fury like a scorned Hufflepuff

Chapter 24

Sirius and his men had ridden hard to get to their destination. By the time they’d set up camp he was dizzy with fatigue. He let his head sink down onto his pallet, closing his eyes, and considered the last time he’d been this tired he’d told the most beautiful woman he’d ever laid eyes upon that he would enjoy watching her squirm.

Somehow he found himself looking into a looking glass. Before him, he saw his reflection looking back at him, next to that of the Princess Marlene.

“I knew you’d seen your reflection, Sir Knight. See? We’re the best looking couple at court.”

He turned to smile back at her but she’d vanished. In her place was another mirror. This mirror image of himself was alone. Then it became apparent that his reflection’s features were twisting themselves just so. Now he was looking at his mother.

“No. I’m nothing like you.” Sirius felt cold as he stared back at her.
