native plant garden updates:

it's teeming with wood sorrel. choosing to leave it be because I like the little yellow flowers, it can be easily pulled, and it fills in empty areas that would just be bare ground

put in hollow joe pye weed that i grew from seed yayyy

cup plant seems to be dramatic. yesterday was wilty bc it wants water and then I checked this morning and it was Fine. just waiting for it to rain. any time now...

this fucking rabbit must feel like it's at a gourmet restaurant. MY PURPLE CONEFLOWER. GONE. obedient plant, black eyed susan, field thistle. GETTING EATEN. surprisingly enough it has not touched my clumps of blue vervain, just the individual ones

there's stinging nettle that I'm deciding to leave there for now for funsies. if it gets in my way or turns out it's not the native species ill pull it out

my garden has a sweat bee nest in the ground :) so cutes!

I should take pics of the entire area tbh. maybe share here. it looks like shit rn but that's bc literally everything is getting established
