I remember watching when Adult Swim aired The Room as part of their April Fools joke and found myself laughing out loud at so much of the movie. (“Hi doggy!”) It was so absurd while being an earnest effort from Tommy Wiseau.
More than 15 years later @mentos-illness and I are now rewatching it with Mark himself Greg Sestero introducing the film at Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. I even got to ask him about when he realized it reached cult status during the Q&A, and was able to snag a signed VHS and signed copy of The Disaster Artist book.
