Why does the entire internet is shocked every time they realize Chris Pratt is a republican every month?

I understand the appeal of wanting every adult hero to instinctively adopt teenage Peter Parker, but can it really beat the hilarity of acknowledging that at 15 Peter was 5'10", unusually buff, went by a moniker with Man in it, wore a creepy full face mask, and had a tightly guarded secret identity and probably a Queens accent thick enough to have come out of a jello mold, and adult heroes reasonably responded to him by going, “Wow, this grown man is an immature asshole for no reason.”

it just feels so 🙄😡🖕🏼 to see rich white men defend other rich white men on the internet… especially when those \white men// had/have the power to defend, protect, and amplify other cast members/women/POC who really needed the support

like……………… they act as if it really ain’t their problem unless it’s something they /could/ face themselves 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 . your activism won’t count if you only help those similar to you, at some point… you gotta think about the bigger picture. the world isn’t just you, your family and your friends, dumbass. i know addressing /social issues/ can feel like a slippery slope, but the points that matter come from trying. respect and growth come from calling out your friends when you need to –– not just absolving them on your major platforms, sheesh. we can’t gloss over racism, sexism, homophobia and all that……

you could [regularly] be a great person or role model, but if you only ‘stand up’ when it’s ‘easy’ that’s like
