Real life shit.
the way people add caveats to movements for the safety and respect for people who use drugs is genuinely upsetting
"give people access to safe supply if they agree to enter treatment!" no!! give us access to safe supply regardless! we don't owe you shit, especially not in order to survive
"support people who use drugs if they want to get sober!" no!! support us regardless, including if we have no intention of stopping using substances
the second you start adding "if" to your support for people who use drugs, you're deciding that some of us aren't worthy of your respect and support. the way we lead our lives, with or without substances, should have no impact on your willingness to fight for our rights
i love you i really wanna fuck you.
anyway decriminalize drugs and make treatment resources widely and readily available so that people stop dying in the fucking streets
i wonder what my next addiction will be
or if I’ll live long enough to experience another one
