Since everyone is sharing theirs, here's my opinion on fireworks

Fireworks can be done safely in controlled manners, that's often not how it's done though. The issue I have with fireworks is not the professionals, it's someone's drunk uncle losing a finger and starting a bush fire all in one go

Also

Expecting people to not set off fireworks on fourth of July and new years?: unrealistic.

Asking people to not do it for weeks before and after: realistic, basic decency.

Ideally it would only be done safely and at scheduled times so people can plan their and their animals needs around it, but alas, people suck

I had such a strong attachment to Harry Potter when i was younger. It gave me a temporary sense of self. It made me feel as if I could be something important despite the pain that had been inflicted on me. I had maladaptive daydreams leading me to severe derealization about this series. I still don't fucking support it anymore. I don't buy merch (official or otherwise), I don't read the books, I don't watch the movies, I don't play the games. The last time I engaged in it was helping my younger cousin pirate it because she was set on watching it but I didn't want her to spend any money on that bitch.
