I fucking hate it here
For those of you with android devices, you can use the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) standalone app control program to get rid of all the bloatware, data mining, and AI crap - no coding needed!
save
There are also Android-based alternatives like GrapheneOS and LineageOS, which are pretty easy to install. These are unfortunately available for a more limited range of devices (Graphene is ironically Pixel only, while Lineage supports more), but it's very worth checking out whether one of them might work for your phone.
GrapheneOS is a security and privacy focused mobile OS with Android app compatibility.
LineageOS Android Distribution
Typing this from Graphene now, in fact. But, both of those take the Android Open Source Project, without all the bloatware--and largely de-Google the whole thing. They give you much more control over privacy and what the apps you choose to install can do and access on your phone.
I know Graphene sandboxes everything, including the optionally installed Google Play Services which a lot of apps unfortunately require to run. (Lineage uses an alternative to Play Services instead.) So, you can install what would normally be unacceptably intrusive apps and just lock them away from pulling any funny shit with your data, or phoning home. Including the couple of Google things I do still keep around.
I also prefer running much more transparent, privacy-respecting open source apps where possible. Besides the transparency, I'd rather avoid the shitty tech corps entirely where I can. There are pretty good alternatives available for a lot of the usual suspects.
AlternativeTo lets you find apps and software for Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android, Android Tablets, Web Apps, Online, Windows Tab
An alternative app store:
F-Droid is an installable catalogue of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) applications for the Android platform. The client makes it easy
Also just going to leave this here.

Hey Epithet Erased fandom, how's it going??
You know, what really sucks about liking Sheldon is how much the show could've pulled off making him and Jenny a pair. I mean if he had stopped being so off putting, he could've been perfect for Jenny
ARE WE HAVING A GOOD TIME?
Casting Call - Unpaid- Leadership Search!
Hello and welcome!
We are a team of passionate fans for the story One Helluva Broken Day who have decided some time ago to turn it into an audiodrama endorsed by the author TheSilentAssassin himself!
We are in dire need of some help as we have basically been a team of two, and we've both been busy with a lot of things in life that result in our upload scedule being this long, and so I am reaching out to you, fans of Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and SCP, to help us make this audiodrama reach greater heights much faster! Chapter 4 is alredy out and is the prime example of what our work can look like: https://youtu.be/C9jwb2Zx-oI?si=seCM4BEPbYQyxnfw
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
1. We would highly recommend reading the story yourself and watch the as of now the first 4 chapter videos to understand what is going on. This project has been born out of love and passion for One Helluva Broken Day, and as with currently it's 16 chapters and 197,806 words it is a project that would rather need your attention and genuine passion as well. I don't want to invite you to help on a fan project and have you be bombarded with just how much this project will take and have you feeling betrayed and indifferent. If you do decide to give this all a try, I got to tell you;
It is my favorite fanfic, and probably story, of all time. Years ago when I first discovered it I couldn't help but be physically drawn to finish it all as quick as my mentality could allow, and so far no other story has made me feel that way again. I love it for how surprisingly in-character everyone is written, their growth as characters (Especially Loona's), that the OC Protagonist[TM] is not a gary stu who has everything but feels like a genuine person to root for and goes through much strive to do things right with what power he has in this hostile world. It is a perfect blend of the story taking itself serious as well as funny jokes you can slap your knee for. The tensions, twists, possibilities, implications, mysteries, and interactions are greatly written and all of that, even with how it makes you want to read it all in one go, is expressed by many fans of our community.
2. Obviously even if you haven't seen the videos yet, this story is full of angst, horror, shocking imagery mostly about gore, swearing, and brutality, and you'd probably expect that from a project about Hellaverse and SCP.
With all that said, and if you're still interested,
What is going on in OHBD?
One Helluva Broken Day is about an SCP Foundation guard being forced to play as a heroic last survivor during the events of When Day Breaks, which is a series of stories about the apocalypse being brought by the sun itself having become changed and turning all organic life it touches into immortal melted monsters that want to force those who survived to join them under their glorious sun, and even the dead may not escape.
This of course causes the masquerade to be broken, for the supernatural to become global public knowledge, of which the Foundation and other supernatural communities have tried so hard and sacrificed so much to hide.
This all of course affects the afterlifes as both almost all new souls can't get in either Heaven or Hell because the sun pulls their souls back into their bodies, and it most notebly draws the attention of both I.M.P, who'se buisness is about going on Earth and killing people, and Lucifer for having to deal with complaints about the lack of new souls.
Mind you, this story takes place shortly after Helluva Boss' episode "Spring Broken" at the time of it's release, so this Lucifer is based on how people used to interpretate him before Hazbin Hotel got it's first official season, as well that we see that nobody from Hellaverse, as in the demons, know anything about the SCP side of things, the broken sun, or the anomalies outside of Heaven and Hell.
Shenanigans ensue when by accident the I.M.P crew make first contact with Justin, who by the time had gained a strange powers that allow him and the demons to survive their encounters. And while reseting time sounds like he's untoppable, through the pain and deaths Justin will have to think strategically and hope he doesn't come across anything that might just whipe away his power.
Phase 1: Scripts We'll first finish with the most fundamental part of the project, finishing the actual scripts, of which we use the writing software FadeIn and it's free/demo version to share them with each other and write them. If things go overcomplicated we'd just switch to Google Docs.
Phase 2: Voice Acting My biggest mistake when starting this was trying to get as many VAs as possible for roles they'd only be able to play a few times throughout the years! We'll avoid that mistake by first getting the scripts done, and then getting our actors to play through all their parts without needing to wait.
Phase 3: Character and Background Artwork
I'll be leading the art direction for the scenes and we'll communicate a lot to get things working and have our work be accurate to what the story is describing. Do note what through GMod and possibly other 3D softwares with maps we'll be using 3D background shots for most of the time, which likely makes things much easier.
Extra Phase: Music and Songs
Not strictly needed, but adding original music and songs with singing would add an unique flavor that would make OHBD stand out and become more inspiring for other people's projects.
Now, if you are still interested, contact me and I'll invite you to our project server, and we may invite more people to work on certain roles than what the slots currently tell you.
Its my birthday today
What Clan/Bloodlines The Vampires Would Fit In The Most
I'm in a mood again to rewatch the School for Little Vampires series, and as I'm doing that after having gotten into World of Darkness, I like to see what paralels the show has to Vampire: The Masquerade, and I will categorize the mentioned vampires in what Clan or Bloodline they'd fit based on my observations
================================================
Count Alarich von Horrificus - Lasombra The director of the vampire school, he is a strict man who respects the ways of vampires, teaching his class how to unlock their potential as well as learning about their history. He is the uncle of the protagonist Oskar von Horrificus and often reminds him about the greatness of the family name. First off; being over 420 years old definately puts him in Elder status (300 years of Unlive), so he'd likely be at least of the 7th generation. The reasons why I think he'd be a Lasombra is, most obvious first, his in-universe mastery over his shadow, having been shown to be the best at it on-screen. Lasombras have their signature Power/Discipline Obtenebration, which allows them to manipulate shadows and the dark. He also always wears almost all black clothes like all Lasombras are depicted. Something that the Lasombra are also known for are their Darwinist philosophies, which means they prefer members who have build themselfes up to be strong and successful people through hardship and don't tolerate weakness unlike their Ventrue counterpart who are powerful and rich through virtue of already having been born into or granted high positions. I think his job as a teacher who tests the new generations to reach their heights through honest work is a perfect role most fitting for a Lasombra. As well that his family name must be one build on merits and strive, which makes sense for a Lasombra to remind another one of, to have them better not dissapoint. Lasombras by default can't cast a reflection. Which is the default for all vampires in the show but I'm adding it for the consistency.
Lady Kryptina - Toreador Kryptina is a professor at the school and mainly teaches Physical Excercise. She is Gruftine's inspiration for beatuy, and Kryptina in-universe is most beautiful, beautiful enough to trick the zealous vampire hunter Polidori to fall for her even though they were very close to the school, which normally would've ticked Polidori off. Toreador are the Clan "known for being some of the most beautiful, sensual, seductive, emotional and glamorous of the Kindred", which is very evident for her to fit, as well as being the adult vampire who has shown the most conserns for her student's safety. Her being focused on exercise for herself and her students, as well as it contributing to her beauty, can also be seen as an artistry she enjoys. Note. She is based on the characters Lucy Westenra, who, if you'd count her as canon, is a 6th generation Tzimisce, who are the clan of 'Flesh Masons' who can change their looks and those of others as well as doing this like an artistic passion, suffering included. Tzimisce would be the second best clan for her, but she is much more a Toreador that the Tzimisce would be too loose to have her based on. Toreador also have the Discipline Presence, which is pretty much emotional manipulation, and it fits with how Kryptina can sways people.
Professor Oxblood - Nosferatu Oxblood is the teacher who teaches about general things like history, morality, and powers like hypnotism and shadow powers. Nosferatu is the clan known for being absolutely grotesque looking as well being the most skilled in being spies and information gatheres. Their outcast culture and being forced to live in the sewers and other hidden places make them usually reliable when it comes to getting information, and in a way that fits for a general teacher like him, and although he looks far from an WOD Nosferatu, he very much is one on account of his rat teeth, balding hair, and thick bushy eyebrows. Not to mention the character he is inspired of is Count Orlock, the central vampire of the Nosferatu novel, which you know, it is all on the nose. Nosferatu have natural access to the Discipline Obfuscate, which is mind manipulation power similar to Hypnosis.
Lenny - Ghoul/Revenant Lenny is the custodian of the school and does the more menial and janitorial jobs there, and although Alarich turned/embraced him, he is not a full-fledged vampire. Sure he has the looks and immortality, but he can't turn into a bat or use vampire powers like everyone else, so on account being Alarich's eternal servant he'd be closer to a Ghoul. Ghouls in VTM are humans who have drank the blood, or Vitae, of vampires, which enacts like a super drug that make the imbiber more obsessed on getting it by serving the giving vampire, which if done more times make them a loyal Ghoul who have the benefits of living longer and stronger. It goes a step closer to vampirsm though and that is being a Revenant. Those are Ghouls who through a hereditary condition produce Vitae on their own, but those specifically arise from generations of Ghouls, so whichever fits better for Lenny is up to debate I say.
Oskar von Horrificus - Brujah
Oskar is hard to pin down because of his kind nature, which to me makes him closest to the Brujah. The Brujah Clan vampires were historically warrior-scholars with phylosophies, but in time they degenerated into punks and brutes with their clan weakness being that they are easy to be frenzy as. They have a parent bloodline called the True Brujah who are much more calm but enforce themselfes to act emotionless and have time powers, which fits Oskar even less. Him being a Brujah makes most sense as his lifestyle and priorities challenges the status quo of vampire society and would most likely act as some kind of heroic vigilante, which fits the Brujah.
Stoker Grimtale Cryptcrawler III - Old Clan Tzimisce
Stoker is egotistical, very embracing of his vampire nature with little regards to humans or sometimes even fellow vampiress, narcissistic, but doesn't have much to show for it. Despite that, as a kid he shows great potential to be of the Old Tzimisce. So, regular Tzimisce are mostly a part of the Sabbat opposing the Camarilla. With the former being a religious sect who want to embrace their vampiric beast more and want to take over all humans, where the latter is the biggest vampire government who are more passionate about hiding from plain sight and control human lifes in the shadows. Tzimisce use their Discipline Vicissitude, flesh and bone shaping, to change their own flesh to look less human and more alien, as well as turning human and vampire victims into things like furniture, monsters, and lobotomized servants. They are most rejecting of humanity and usually embrace the agony that goes into what they make, trying to reach greater heights. They are contested to being the most evil of the clans. Old Tzimisce are the ones who didn't accept using Vicissitude and instead use Dominate, as well as being able to use blood sorcery called Koldunic Sorcery to control the 4 elements and even spirits. They are very much inspired of Dracula (especially Old Clan), of which Stoker also is. Stoker loves being a vampire and thinks little of humans, as well having shown to be able to manipulate people. He'd best fit with the Old Clan because he doesn't have the signature flesh shaping powers besides his bat transformation which every vampire in the show has, and with Dominate, which is about mental domination, it fits him.
Ashley von Ghoulfangs - Toreador Ashley is a vampire who made contact with sunlight and turned into a sentient pile of ash. A condition that isn't a thing in VTM but most unique to the cartoon. If his past life with his love for theatre as well as that one episode where he enjoyed being a human museum attraction, he'd obviously fit Toreador as well. In a funny but cruel way he may secondly be a Nosferatu, specifically a Cleopatra. People who have been turned out of spite by the Nosferatu because of their beauty. And as an ash he would't exactly look appealing in either human or vampire standarts.
Klot Tratzum - Caitiff Klot doesn't have any noteable characteristics that magnetises him to any actual Clan. We know he is a toddler, has the basic but weak vampire powers, and has skills in playing the piano. Caitiffs are vampires that either: A: Don't know by which clan they have been embraced into and by the abandonment of their Sires (vampire who turned another to a vampire) they are disregarded as outcasts. B: On a biological level do not belong to a Clan and so have no clan weakness or base three Disciplines. So for someone as inexperienced and clueless a Klot, that might fit him the most.
Leechy von Lebanlos - Tremere
Leechy is a highly intellectual mechanical inventor, and while he posesses little interests in the arcane arcs, he does have the inventive pursuit to match. Tremere are a rather younger Clan who had their origins in Mages, specifically the Order of Hermes from Mage: The Ascension. They are the most proficient when it comes to using magic rituals, often geometry and mathematics themed, and their inside government 'The Pyramid' is a meritocracy which encourages, though actually forces, for Tremere vampires to show progress and new gains in power. The Tremere were vital in bringing the other clans into the modern world, to embrace most on modern technology, societal structures, the economy, and so on. Leechy being a very intelligent inventor who makes fantastic though failing contraptions makes him a great fit as a Tremere.
Gothetta Gothetticus - Toreador
It is also rather obvious. Gothetta gives much focus on her beauty, Kryptina being her inspiration, as well to how often she is the voice of reason for the group, despite her obvious jealousy over the human Sunshine on who Oskar has a crush on. She is also talented in Botany and Alchemy, the former being someting that fit the Toreador with their symbol being a rose, and although Alchemy fits the Tremere more, her usage of it focuses more on the affects of appereance.
As a big fan of both School for Little Vampires and Vampire: The Masquerade, I often see myself deciphering how those two would mix. VTM is one of the biggest and most influential vampire media out there and with tons of lore, as well as gameplay aspects, so it can be quite fun to see in what categories the cartoon character would fit in.
Fletscher would be a Ventrue die to his high social status as well as his pride in himself, Oskar would be a Brujah for his rebellion towards vampire norms, Nerfativi would be a Ministry/Follower of Set due to her Egyptian heritage, and Gruftine would be a Toreador for her interests in beauty and being a vampire with most common sense.
And if we count the sister game line Hunter: The Reckoning here, Polidori would also fit some archetype of hunter!
I'd highly recommend looking into VTM to expand your interests in gritty horror and vampire niches, as well as to see how it and the show could connect.
Wow, I've heard of this name, but I've never checked this topic. I did it now. It's really worth exploring!!! The interesting thing is that the universe is old and rooted in a board game (I love board games). The vampires from the SfV really have something in common with the clans. In any case, little vampires were created based on media archetypes too. Thanks for the advice, I'll explore it for sure)
Some more things that make VTM most interesting is because 1. The Clans of vampires are inspired by archetypes of all vampires throughout media and sometimes directly of a singular work, like how the Tzimisce are inspired of Dracula and Necroscope, so you'd get to play a vampire with all kinds of flavor which also allows itself to be used to speculate how vampires of other media would fit in VTM's framework
And 2. It is full of lore that allows the existence of vampires in-universe to be justified to exist despite their various conditions, giving explanations on how realistically vampires would live and thrive throughout history. Or why, say, vampires are weak to the Sun and holy things, the origins of vampirism, what does human blood do for them, and what happens when a vampire tries to devour another vampire?
I think I know which clan I'd prefer, I'm a Dracula fan х) But, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you're going to play a Tzimisce there are some things I think I should tell about
You likely read about that part already, but in-universe Tzimisce due to their traditions, practices, and overall origins of their Discipline/Power of Vicissitude (Flesh Crafting), they are incredibly hard to play as 'good guy' characters and justifying it would likely have the clan shun you, unless you want to play a bad guy torturer then rock and roll!
Their whole thing is that they embrace their dark curse of vampirism and abandon their humanity in pursuit of bodily perfection, which is why you'd usually find artwork of them looking very much like aliens as they reshape their own bodies. They have a twisted sense of artistry by taking human victims and turning their bodies into stuff like furniture while they are kept alive to suffer, or turning them and emerging them with other people, families included, to become flesh monsters called Vozhd for them to command.
It is also to note that unlike games like D&D or Pathfinder which focus on using your powers, World of Darkness games focus on being a role player, to immerse yourself as your character to make interesting interactions and produce character growth. So depending on the moral alignment it could be rather difficult or easy to play as a Tzimisce when it comes to the social stuff.
Also to note about the clan Tzimisce is that they are, as of V20/4th edition, are part of the Sabbat. While the Camarilla is the leading government of vampire society that includes about half the clans and focus on hiding themselves from human and control things in the shadows, the Sabbat are like an opposing Cult who are officially practically supremacists who want to take over humans and embrace the beast withing them, as well as openly worshipping the Dark Father Caine, the first vampire, even though Caine doesn't care about his kin anymore out of numbness but they don't know.
Also, there is the Old Tzimisce Clan, who have not joined the Sabbat and didn't learn about Vicissitude but use Koldunic Sorcery, which is a type of blood magic exclusive to them that allows them to manipulate Water, Earth, Fire, and Air in various ways, as well as having awareness on the presence of spirits.
Now something different and slightly more relevant to School for Vampires. There is Golconda, which is the result of when a vampire, by virtue of the powers that be allowing them to find a way to save themselves, gets a sort of Enlightenment, which involves having a lot of Humanity Points. While it is vague what the exact benefits are, it can include regaining your humanity, to have all the benefits of a vampire which includes powers and immortality, you'd no longer be weak to the sun or other vampire associated weaknesses, eat regular food, etc.
And in my opinion Oskar really is somewhat close to achieving something like that if it existed. If anything else I can see him advocating for a harmonious co-existence between vampires and humans, to show that they, and by extensions all of monster kind are not 'monsters' and that they can benefit from each other while not needing to eradicate each other for their continual survival.

Happy New Year in Germany!
Happy Last Day of Germany 2025!
been playing a game lately and wanted to objectify(?) some of the weapons/items that appear on it
We finally got to release the 4th chapter of our Hellaverse x SCP video adaptation of One Helluva Broken Day? Here are some of the shots I've worked on
I got to be honest, we are incredibly short staffed, this has been taking up almost two years to make due to life getting in the way as well that art takes time
I ask if you, if you're interested, to let me know if you might want to try out the story this is all based on (It's good. Like, REALLY good) and out of passion help us get these videos done faster. I want you to have an amazing experience of an rollercoaster of emotions, to have this be known and talked about more and have out community thrive again.
So please, share this around and consider helping us out, maybe there is fun do be had in working something so different and unique?
Greetings! I have come to announce that I have been working on an audiodrama about Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and SCP! And I need YOUR help to bring it closer to completion! Sorry for the sloppy image in advance
Important to note that this is an free/unpaid project because I ain't got no money and this is made out of passion, as well that this project is for MATURE AUDIENCE only as it depicts a lot of heavy and visceral themes. So if you don't know what's going on but would like to get into whats going on, you can read the fanfic here, or look into the audio drama adaptations of the first 3 chapters here We have been working for over a year on the 4th chapter and even though I am finished with the artwork, we still come across numerous hurdles to get closer to finishing it, such that through life situations some voice actors, like recently the one for our main protagonist (The guy here that actually looks human), so we mainly are looking for voice actors and artists. Here are some examples of the artwork I've done:
This style doesn't need to be replicated or be of this quality, contact me on discord under .hyperray to show me what you got and I'll see if you can work with us and I'll invite you to our server!
One more thing to note as you can see from our videos is that we provide paragraphs of text for listeners to read along the audio and that it scrolls from bottom to top, as well that having to draw backgrounds won't be an issue for half the time since what I like to do is to take screenshots from gmod maps, so if you got any 3D games you think woul fit the scenes, you're welcome to just screenshot them and we can draw over them. I hope for those who are intereste will have a great time working with us as we bring this story to greater heights!
We're still in great need to have more people on our team. Please consider it.
